We created a custom roof frame to cover our Regency light style porch with a flat top to suit the style of the extension where it’s situated. The Architects advised that the primary function of this covered wrought iron porch is as a smoking canopy so the brief required that there be enough space for a couple of people to shelter from the elements. This elongated porch also has the added bonus of drawing the eye to the main entrance. All of our ironwork is handmade to order meaning we are happy to customize designs and sizes to suit your needs!

We were commissioned to make several Georgian design ironwork porches with our popular complete zintec roofs for a multi-award winning housing developer. The dimensions and canopy roof configurations were tailored to suit each property adding character and style as well as a useful shelter over the front doors of these new homes. We are sure the lucky new home owners will enjoy them for years to come!

This client originally had a Deco design ironwork porch from us a few years ago and came back to us last year for another to match the first. Both porches cover double French doors and provide shelter to the wooden famed doors along with shade into the property which is in a particularly sunny position. The roofs were made slightly shallower than our 'typical' height to sit under the coping stone and allow for flashing. The client also opted to add white fascia boards to attach guttering - though this can be attached directly to the ringbeams of our roof frame and our glazing bar roof if preferred.

Our traditional porch ironwork suits this beautiful period property perfectly and looks as though it has always been there. This client chose our Regency Light design ironwork and completed the porch with cast shoe covers, sunray spandrel brackets and our popular complete Zintec canopy roof. The metalwork shot-blasted and primed prior to being painted in our sateen black paint. The curved and hipped Zintec roof has been powder-coated in a heritage lead grey colour.
