I designed fixed shelves to wrap 3 of the room's walls to hold prized pieces from the family's past, as well as, old family photographs. History is very important to my clients, and we wanted to honor theirs in a beautiful, but not stuffy way. The backs of the built ins are faux finished with a simple glazing technique to help create this feeling.
