The "buckshot" house is a small addition to a mid-century Ozark modern home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The clients requested an additional downstairs ADA accessible bedroom and bathroom and upstairs master suite. The extra space was needed because the clients were adopting a special needs child. The spaces are bright and playful, with tiny apertures puncturing the South and East facades. Large deciduous trees nestled close to the house extending the filigree of light though the "buckshot" windows.
