View from remodeled kitchen to existing family room. The space was better defined with glass window transoms and custom millwork.The original block style island was replaced with an enlarged, angled, furniture style island with loads of storage and a comfortable 3 person seating area. To the right, a deeply arched opening, with decorative panels, separates the kitchen and breakfast room space and adds aesthetic detail and ambiance to a previously plain space. The coffered ceiling with natural cedar and marine varnish adds warmth.
