This nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. This nursery began in an empty white-box room with incredible natural light, the challenge being to give it warmth and add multi-functionality. Through floral motifs and hints of gold, we created a boho glam room perfect for a little girl. We played with texture to give depth to the soft color palette. The upholstered crib is convertible to a toddler bed, and the daybed can serve as a twin bed, offering a nursery that can grow with baby. The changing table doubles as a dresser, while the hanging canopy play area serves as a perfect play and reading nook.

We helped them install the new bamboo hardwood flooring, baseboard, double decorative crown moulding, and paint the whole room. We also installed a custom closet for their son's toys, clothes and shoes.
