Two artists found an idyllic rural property, north of Hastings, East Sussex. The brief included a need for space, horizontality and precision to match the exactness of the client's painting style. The house had to be capable of being a good backdrop for their extensive art collection, and filled with light. This was to be a working home with studios and studies for the two artists, to be accessed through woodland in such a way that the visitor isn't fully aware of the dramatic view of the water until they have made their way into the house.

Client of this project wanted a solution to reduce sun glare while still being able to see outside and be child safe! Also we had to comply with body corporate rules, that you can't see the surrounding frame from the street. We decided to go with this custom made top quality product! Sunscreen fabric, fully enclosed, 2 channel remote that controls both awnings with a press of a button, even from inside the house. Solar powered wireless wind and sun sensor! When too windy, blinds go up automatically, when sun is up, blinds go down automatically! And all that with a sensor that communicates with the blinds wirelessly and doesn't even need electricity because it gets free power from the sun!! And the frame perfectly hidden on the sides! This photo demonstrates the measuring perfection of the side channel!

Agi Kuczyńska entwarf alle Einbaumöbel in der Wohnung: vom Kleiderschrank im Korridor über Schränke und Spiegel in beiden Badezimmern bis zum Kleiderschrank im Hauptschlafzimmer mit einer speziellen begehbaren Tür zum Hauptbad. Speziell für dieses Projekt wurden auch ein Balkontisch und eine maßgefertigte Lampe über dem Esstisch sowie ein Tagesbett im Wohnzimmer entworfen.
