Dual Concept Design
A transitional dining room, where we incorporated the clients' antique dining table and paired it up with chairs that are a mix of upholstery and wooden accents. A traditional navy and cream rug anchors the furniture, and dark gray walls with accents of brass, mirror and some color in the artwork and accessories pull the space together.

This dining room is a great space for large gatherings. The soft colors make the room feel serene, but the pops of orange in the centerpiece and jewel colors in the artwork create some interest that tie things together. For this young couple, the lighting really needed to be unique and not seen in every new construction project. Cut velvet fabric on the back of dining chairs adds a cool texture and pattern to the space, while the leather seats make for maintenance friendly dining. The arched windows are framed by simple silk drapery panels to let in just enough light, and the custom light-colored rug creates a great anchor for the beautiful wood dining table.

The rustle of sea grass, water lapping under the dock, the sound of birds calling each other over the crystal surface of a lake. These are the sights and sounds that Coastal Living Resort Dining brings to mind. Dining al fresco with family at a secluded lake house or in a glass enclosed sunroom; the feeling is the same – pure pleasure. Enjoying delicious fresh food in a casual yet sophisticated style. Choose club chairs, barstools, and side chairs with woven grasses for texture and fabric upholstery for comfort. Dining tables that are consistently inviting with artistic details that bring the reminder of life on the coast to every meal. Sideboards and buffets have plenty of storage for your serving pieces and dinnerware. A wealth of coastal inspired finishes from which to choose allows you to customize your entertainment and dining area to suit your needs and personality.

The homeowner of this ranch style home in Orange Park Acres wanted the Kitchen Breakfast Nook to become a large informal Dining Room that was an extension of the new Great Room. A new painted limestone effect on the used brick fireplace sets the tone for a lighter, more open and airy space. Using a bench for part of the seating helps to eliminate crowding and give a place for the grandkids to sit that can handle sticky hands. Custom designed dining chairs in a heavy duty velvet add to the luxurious feeling of the room and can be used in the adjacent Great Room for additional seating. A heavy dark iron chandelier was replaced with the lovely fixture that was hanging in another room; it's pale tones perfect for the new scheme. The window seat cushions were updated in a serviceable ostrich print taupe vinyl enhanced by rich cut velvet brocade and metallic woven pillows, making it a perfect place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. John Magor Photography. This family was interested in a super formal dining room. We chose a round table to fill the space and dark moss green walls for a cozy, earthy feel. The dining chairs all all different to add fun and whimsy to the space. The elegant roman shades have a nail head trim detail for a masculine touch.

New window seat adds seating and storage to the space. We added thick new moldings for architectural interest; dark hardwood floors provide additional warmth. The vintage chandelier draws color from the nearby ocean and adds a spark of color and interest.
Solid wood Parsons dining table and the Wishbone chairs provide an interesting mix of geometric shapes, styles and textures. The sisal rug grounds the area and adds another natural element. The window seat was added to create much-needed additional seating and extra storage space.

This dining room in Ladue was transformed from boring to fabulous. Starting with the faux finish on the ceiling and the double chandeliers over the table these elements give the room an expansive feel. The faux finish walls soften the lines of the room. The draperies are show stoppers . Embellished with cording and crystals.the pennants end with a fluer dis las tassel at the point of the velvet shaped accent rim. Causal dining at its European best!
