Unglazed porcelain – There is no glazing or any other coating applied to the tile. Their color is the same on the face of the tile as it is on the back resulting in very durable tiles that do not show the effects of heavy traffic. The most common unglazed tiles are the red quarry tiles or the granite looking porcelain ceramic tiles used in heavy commercial areas. Historic matches to the original tiles made from 1890 - 1930's. Subway Ceramic floor tiles are made of the highest quality unglazed porcelain and carefully arranged on a fiber mesh as one square foot sheets. A complimentary black hex is also in stock in both sizes and available by the sheet for creating borders and accent designs.
Subway Ceramics offers vintage tile is 3/8" thick, with a flat surface and square edges. The Subway Ceramics collection of traditional subway tile, moldings and accessories.

Introducing our "Glastonbury" design from the Quatrefoil Collection of Redi-Screens. This pattern of interlocking rings is a stunning combination of old and new, as it brings an ancient symbol into a modern home. We particularly love this design placed above the bed because it serves two purposes: wall art and headboard. With a clear connection between the home and the Pacific Ocean beyond, this modern dwelling provides a west coast retreat for a young family. Forethought was given to future green advancements such as being completely solar ready and having plans in place to install a living green roof. Generous use of fully retractable window walls allow sea breezes to naturally cool living spaces which extend into the outdoors. Indoor air is filtered through an exchange system, providing a healthier air quality. Concrete surfaces on floors and walls add strength and ease of maintenance. Personality is expressed with the punches of colour seen in the Italian made and designed kitchen and furnishings within the home. Thoughtful consideration was given to areas committed to the clients’ hobbies and lifestyle.

This warm and sophisticated theater room began as a design challenge. Round walls with their acoustical issues needed to be addressed as well as the dilemma of how to mount a 103 inch projection screen to these walls. A custom designed cabinet grounds the massive screen while concealing the components. The walls were upholstered and tufted to give a cozy feeling while absorbing sound from the surround system. A platform was added to allow for additional seating in this elegant theater. The result is a fabulous room to watch a movie with friends and family.

The walls of this formal dining room have all been paneled and painted a crisp white to set off the stark gray used on the upper part of the walls, above the paneling. Ceilings are coffered and a dramatic large pendant lamp is placed centered in the paneled ceiling. A silk light grey rug sits proud under a 12' wide custom dining table. Reclaimed wood planks from Canada and an industrial steel base harden the soft lines of the room and provide a bit of whimsy. Dining benches sit on one side of the table, and four leather and nail head studded chairs flank the other side. The table comfortably sits a party of 12.

A family of snowbirds hired us to design their South Floridian getaway inspired by old Hollywood glamor. Film, repetition, reflection and symmetry are some of the common characteristics of the interiors in this particular era.
This carried through to the design of the apartment through the use of rich textiles such as velvets and silks, ornate forms, bold patterns, reflective surfaces such as glass and mirrors, and lots of bright colors with high-gloss white moldings throughout.
In this introduction you’ll see the general molding design and furniture layout of each space. The ceilings in this project get special treatment – colorful patterned wallpapers are found within the applied moldings and crown moldings throughout each room.
The elevator vestibule is the Sun Room – you arrive in a bright head-to-toe yellow space that foreshadows what is to come. The living room is left as a crisp white canvas and the doors are painted Tiffany blue for contrast. The girl’s room is painted in a warm pink and accented with white moldings on walls and a patterned glass bead wallpaper above. The boy’s room has a more subdued masculine theme with an upholstered gray suede headboard and accents of royal blue. Finally, the master suite is covered in a coral red with accents of pearl and white but it’s focal point lies in the grandiose white leather tufted headboard wall.
