70's Ranch Master Bedroom Remodel. We removed the old sliding doors and closet wall and installed 3 of the Ikea Pax wardrobes and trimmed them out with crown molding.

This foyer was updated with the addition of white paneling and new herringbone hardwood floors with a walnut border. The walls are covered in a navy blue grasscloth wallpaper from Thibaut. A navy and white geometric patterned stair-runner, held in place with stair rods capped with pineapple finials, further contributes to the home's coastal feel.

The entry area became an 'urban mudroom' with ample storage and a small clean workspace that can also serve as an additional sleeping area if needed. Glass block borrows natural light from the abutting corridor while maintaining privacy.

Working station is an important but normally not such a vibrant part of the interior. In this 25sqm studio it was hidden within the mirrored wardrobe to keep interior clean and uncluttered. 180 degree hinges allow doors open completely giving plenty of space for comfortable and productive work.

Originally designed by J. Merrill Brown in 1887, this Queen Anne style home sits proudly in Cambridge's Avon Hill Historic District. Past was blended with present in the restoration of this property to its original 19th century elegance. The design satisfied historical requirements with its attention to authentic detailsand materials; it also satisfied the wishes of the family who has been connected to the house through several generations.

The walls and ceiling of the small bedroom were painted a deep peacock blue, which blurs the lines of the space to make it appear larger. To the left, the center piece is a framed hand woven textile and the bottom piece is a framed New Yorker cover from the 1950's.

This eclectic dining room has both elegant and rustic elements, incorporating both styles into a bold statement. The metallic accented wallcovering, adds a retro vibe, while the traditional wainscoting is freshened by a neutral palette of pale taupe and crisp white. Crystal orbs add a dash of glamour and the rustic farm table gives it some grounding. Antique horns flank a simple silver urn in front of the soft folds of the casual yet elegant hobbled roman fabric shade. The enameled brass plate adds the perfect flash of Ochre and the antique milling wheel hangs on the wall over the playful wallcovering.*Photography by Damon Landry

Eco-Rehabarama house. This dining space is adjacent to the kitchen and the living area in a very open floor-plan. We converted the garage into a kitchen and updated the entire house. The red barn door is made from recycled materials. The hardware for the door was salvaged from an old barn door. We used wood from the demolition to make the barn door. This image shows the entire barn door with the kitchen table. The door divides the laundry and utility room from the dining space. It's a practical solution to separate the two spaces while adding an interesting focal point to the room. Love the pop of red against the neutral walls. The door is painted with Sherwin Williams Red Obsession SW7590 and the walls are Sherwin Williams Warm Stone SW 7032.
