This piece has a custom glitter background and custom-colored minerals embedded in a resin-based matrix. It was created for a space where a salt-water aquarium failed. It is in the dining room, which looks out onto the sunken living room. The stones are suspended in resin over the glitter. The lights are suspended crystal bubbles. The effect of the countertop and the lights together is stunning.
