Our objective with this particular client was to commemorate the special bond of father and son depicted in their precious newborn photo. This project involved digital photo editing, a print on fine art paper with hand deckled edges, and a shadowbox filled with linen fabric to accent the comforting tone of the photo. Finally, since the piece was going in a powder room in the client’s home, we sealed the interior chamber of the work using a metallised polymer film to create a barrier against moisture.

This lovely chest of drawers was purchased as a floor model at an inexpensive store. Swapping the existing small metal knobs out with smooth large knobs in a similar patina really made a difference in the look and also the feel of using the drawers. Brass nail head trim was added next around the top edge. Topped off with a memory foam changing pad and soft blanket cover, this piece of furniture is ready and versatile! The antique wood chair was a gift and fabric was chosen to compliment the new furniture addition. The corner etagere bookcase was painted with chalk paint and then a dark wax was added. Fabric was chosen to line the interior and brass nail head trim was added to the crown.

Classic style with a twist, our colour pop nursery concept was designed for a young family in Sussex. The brief was to create a unique and impactful space using a bold accent colour and layered colours and textures. Our colour loving clients wanted to add the wow factor, so we proposed painting the woodwork in a vibrant orange and create a strong contrast by keeping the wall paint neutral. We included patterned green tiles to the fireplace to modernise the original features.
