The material is a granite called Capolovaro with a leather finish. I had never seen a leather finish before and I really liked it. It doesn't have that high polished look ( so it seems much warmer) plus it has a slight texture to it. You can't see in the picture, but when the client is using the cook top, they have a 180 degree, white water view of the California Coast.
