The master bedroom also has an area where we have placed a comfy chaise to relax and read a book. We carried out the blue theme and placed a french inlaid chest next to it. The drapery is pale blue solid silk. The rug has a tone on tone floral pattern on it. Next to the chaise you can see the painted chest. It is great to mix painted and wood finishes in a room, otherwise it can become very dark, if that is your cup of tea. Some clients love it and we cater to them. This was a compromise between the husband and wife.
