Upgraded Deck House
Contemporary Living Room, Boston
The old brick fireplace was plastered and capped off with a large slab of mahogany (to match the mahogany windows). The original blue stone hearth was retained, tying in nicely with the new gray-toned wood floors. A sleek new gas insert with a black and stainless steel surround was installed, along with a new chimney liner and cap.
