Warwick Drive, Naperville IL

Traditional Kitchen, Chicago

This Naperville, IL kitchen made big changes in size and style and functionality. Warm Talora maple cabinetry with a chocolate glaze was chosen, to keep a light open feeling. The transitional door style pairs modern clean lines and cove detail with a traditional-feeling raised panel. Moldings were kept minimal, and the fixtures are all contemporary. The microwave was built in to allow for a decorative hood, and huge amounts of storage were added - especially in the large island, which can easily seat 5 or more. A beverage center was added across from the work area, to make entertaining easier; and the decorative glass door cabinetry offers a great focal point. This new beautiful, classic space is perfect for homework, entertaining, and yes, even cooking.
