George Evennett Limited

They say you get what you pay for and in the case of George Evennett Architects never was a truer word spoken. My latest property renovation undertaking was an 18 Century farmhouse in France. In short, it was a full renovation. Only the original walls, beams, out sheds and cellar remained. This was my biggest project to date and having worked with a couple of different architects in the past, some who delivered and others that had not - George Evennett Architects were refreshingly tentative, professional and inspirational. These three traits were what was required for this project – and George Evennett Architects delivered in spades! (pun intended). I knew from experience that the undertaking of the project was large. The state of the property meant that a blank canvas was the only feasible start point. George Evennett Architects absolutely nailed the creative architecture that I desired. From floor plan, to plumbing and electrical laydown everything was figured out in a functional, simplistic and most importantly, well thought out way. Always on hand and at the end of the phone (or email), my queries were answered without delay. Nothing was too much of a problem. The site management was faultless, even when working with French artisans and trades. I can honestly say that this was the most stress-free project to date, and I don’t put this down to my growing experience (although this is a factor) but because George Evennett Architects are the most professional and talented that I have dealt with. I’m so impressed with this outfit that I’ve written a review – something I rarely do! I will absolutely be using this company again; I’ve just got to find the right building.
