“Our experience of working with Uchi Architecture has been excellent. We wanted an architect who had a genuine interest in creating domestic spaces with an understanding of what our family needed now and for the future in a long term home. As well as listen and ask insightful questions Paul had an intuitive sense of what would work well for us. He created a number of options for us to consider and most importantly was mindful of our budget. In retrospect we would have had him project manage the build, which was an option at the time that we did not take up. Even so Paul did keep an eye on the development and we are thoroughly pleased with the result. Harpenden”

“The Market Design and Build has just finished a big project for us and we couldn’t be happier. The property is an old converted barn so the challenge was huge. Obviously there were some set backs but the communication in between us (property owners) and The Market was excellent so problems were solved quickly. These guys are not here to screw you over. Before signing the contract they guaranteed us that they wouldn’t leave the project until we were 100% happy.. And they didn’t! We are sure to use The Market again if we need more work done on a property in the future.”

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Irene for our house redevelopment project (loft conversion and major rear extension). She has struck a really good balance of listening to our thoughts and suggestions whilst bringing really interesting and creative ideas, using her expertise. In particular Irene has a really good eye for how and when to deploy some design flair to a project to bring some individuality in a cost conscious way. Her fees have been very reasonable for the quality of service provided and we feel lucky that we were able to work with her at the start of her journey setting up her own business as I'm sure she will be extremely over subscribed in the near future! !”
