The team at the Market Design and Build have offered an excellent spatial design of my flat in London making sure the space is utilized most efficiently. They were also very attentive to my suggestions and, very kindly made a number of revisions to the drawings even after they were finalized.

We weren't sure exactly how to extend our house (loft conversion, extension to rear, add a storey to side extension or garden office). They discussed all our options and then gave us 3 designs based on limited budget, average budget and unlimited. From this we were able to come up with a design that met our needs and was within our budget. They submitted the planning application and dealt with any queries directly, made the process hassle free. Provided Building Control drawings and made amendments as build progressed. Would recommend.

Architectural design and structural package I recently hired The Market Building & Design to fully refurbish my house. The project is divided in 2 phases: A loft conversion that has started in July 2024 and a full reconfiguration of the house that includes a rear extension plus an outbuilding will commence in 2026. I mandate TMBD to handle the architectural designs and the structural package. I have been very pleased with the architectural team (especially Imaan Balbolia) who were very creative and imaginative to bring designs that aligned with my vision. They were always quick to respond to my queries and kept me updated on the progress. The collaborative approach they took made me feel involved in every step of the process, which was very reassuring. I first considered the market design and build because they can handle all aspects of the build, had a strong well established business and use their own trades people. I went to visit Aaron the owners house with Raj and got a good feeling about them. They seemed honest and I prefer to conduct business based on trust. Considering the amount of risk when doing a project, you want to ensure you are in it with the right partners. Hamael was the main go to person running our project the whole way through. We did a full build of a 4 bed. To get straight to the point I could not recommend them enough. Hamael was there working with us to get the best out of every situation. Suggesting improvements and really working with us to make a great house. He made the experience a real pleasure (not something you hear very often from people doing building works) when issues inevitably arose, we worked together to find solutions. Hamael always took full accountability of any issues owned by TMDB and did whatever it took to fully resolve. The whole time it felt like they really cared to make a great final product. At no point did I feel like I was being squeezed for additional payment. All additions were agreed up front and seemed very reasonable. Hamael and the team were very flexible as the project rolled on to ensure everything lined up and fitted well. The communication was excellent. Very transparent and upfront which is essential given what’s on the line. I would only ever use the TMDB going forward on any future work as they tick every box. 10/10

As the Project Manager ("PM") for the client, I worked with Market Design and Build whom were appointed as the build out contractor. From the outset, the team at Market Design were excellent. They had a strong grasp of what the client wanted and they were very aware of the clients needs, particularly meeting the completion date. From the kick off meeting through to the site handover to the client, the communication, Project Management and level of craftsmanship was superb. Their technical ability were strong, with a broad group of professional trades that worked seamlessly on site. The PM in particular was very good, whom went the extra mile to ensure the client got exactly what they wanted, to a high standard and ensured that the project came in on budget.

We chose the The Market Design & Build to draw up our plans and get the architectural drawings through planning at Ealing council as we wanted a wrap around service. I can truly say that this is what we got. There were challenges with this project and communication was essential. All the staff we needed to speak to were available and we had regular meetings often over teams as needed. We have also had the structural drawings undertaken by TMDB and are now waiting on our quote for the building works. I would highly recommend this company and we are now on the journey of having our extension built. I like the fact that there are site visits and James' initial visit brought about some great ideas.

The market design and build have helped design our single storey wraparound extension,including submitting for planning which was approved on second submission due to living within conservation area. Architectural design and structural package. Excellent team. James and the architectural team offered me great advice from the outset, and regardless of whether we opted for them as the actual construction team or not, it was never an issue when providing us with consultation on general meetings to ensure that we made the right decisions in every step of our renovation process. We used them for the pre-production stages, i.e. developing the structural plans, and then, when we went with a separate construction team, we stayed in touch with the team, and they advised on every detail along the way up until Building Regulations came to sign off the house. Friendly, prompt emails if we had any questions, and offered great free advice every single step of the way. Plus excellent detailed plans. It's great to have humans who understand the needs of homeowners when a build is so stressful!

We used TMDB for their architectural design and structural package. The team was patient will our questions, adaptive to our needs and represented good value for money. Being first time renovators, though, at times we would have appreciated slightly more guidance from a firm - at times we felt as if we were receiving answers only to questions that we asked, rather than relevant information being proactively offered. We are upgrading our semi detached property by adding a loft rear dormer conversion, side upper extension and rear extension. The Market Design and Build are our contractor and the experience so far has been very good. The whole project was itemized and costed with transparency before works began. It has remained on schedule which was always my top concern. The core + shell work is complete on time. Shin, as the project manager, has maintained timely communication and handled all unforeseen circumstances with ease. They have also been flexible in adapting to weather and events outside control.

We chose The Market Design and Build to do full refurbishment of the ground floor (including removing chimney breasts and a structural opening), rear extension as well as construction of an outbuilding at our home in Ruislip which has just completed. After running a tender process, we chose Market Design and Build based on their credentials and detailed response to the tender documents and competitive price. We wanted the work to start fairly quickly and The Market Design and Build was fairly accommodating. We were allocated a Project Manager and Foreman; they were both absolutely brilliant throughout the project and provided some valuable advice and suggestions that we are grateful for. Our Project manager ensured that the work is completed at high standard as per the agreed project plan, thereby ensuring the project didn’t run over the agreed time scales. Forman was very very good and was happy to accommodate any minor changes that we requested. He provided us with an overview of the plan each day and ensured he was checking in with us to ensure that we are happy with the work. We have been consistently impressed by the hardworking team and their subcontractors. Both project manager and foreman have shown an eye, and a passion to deliver the project to a high standard. Regular site meetings and prompt team updates ensured that we were in the loop on progress and any issues at all times. Even during the messiest and dustiest phases of the build, the site was kept as tidy as possible, and generally speaking, nothing was ever ‘too difficult’. We have no hesitation in recommending The Market Design and Build especially dedicated team for our project – this is the level of service and quality of project delivery that construction firm should be striving for.

Being first time extenders/renovators, we chose to use the Market Design & Build for our extension and complete renovation from initial architect design to completion of the build. The first design was drawn quickly and efficiently and then with further discussion and advice adjusted to suite our needs. The 3D model and CGI really helped us visualise what we were working towards. They applied for and pushed through our planning application which had delays due to COVID. The quote for the build was fully explained and further advice was given to us as needed. There was no pressure at this point to proceed but we felt in good hands. Once planning was successful the build commenced within a matter of weeks. Our project manager Hamael was always contactable and discussed any issues with us and kept us updated on progress. As with all builds we had some bumps in the road and some extra work that needed doing and these were dealt with and the project remained largely on track. The build team were efficient and courteous and lovely to deal with - to name a few particularly Sonu, Sonu and Ravi. Post build and moving in any snags that we have identified have been dealt with when requested. Communication has remained open and we are confident any other snags or other issues covered under the 2 year warranty and 10 year guarantee can be dealt with. We would highly recommend this company and if we were to do a similar project in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Market Design and Build took on our renovation project, including a rear and side two-storey extension, loft extension, and interior renovations. They joined the project after architect plans had already been drawn and approved, and were great at working with plans that weren't their own. This did at times cause a few problems, but at each point Market Design and Build had a solution, and were able to work with the situation to achieve the desired goal. Hamael was our project manager, and he was always easily contactable, and always keen to ensure that we were happy with the process. It was not an easy job for him or the team (a terraced house with no side access), but at all times we felt we were in good hands and that the job would be completed to a high standard. We were very happy with the whole process, and how build has been finished, and it has received many compliments.

External work review: We decided to go with The Market for a side and rear extension and loft conversion after using them to plan our build. We met with the project manager, Hamael, and site foreman, Sonu, shortly after planning permission was approved and work began soon after. The work progressed very quickly and efficiently, the team communicated effectively to make sure all window and door openings and all wall placements were where we wanted them. The team also recommended good companies for many second fix items, all of whom we would use again. Regular meetings with Hamael and Sonu helped ensure that everything progressed as planned and prevented delays. The team were also very flexible and able to do additional work that we required, such are repairing an already damaged chimney and removal of ivy from an area that would become inaccessible after build completion. Overall, we are very happy with the external work and the rate at which it progressed.

Lowered first floor ceiling to create a higher and wider loft space room and installed a new bathroom. A small team of highly skilled builders took 16 weeks to complete our ambitious loft refurb. On budget and on time. Very detailed and competitive quote. Communication at times slightly difficult. Time keeping of the builders could have been better.

Aaron and his team worked hard to plan our 5000 square foot house. Being a new build design there was so much variety out there but they helped us incorporate all that we wanted in the design and made it flow internally and look amazing externally. Peter the senior architect that worked on the project was very knowledgeable with great ideas for the design and also guided us away from certain elements which would not suite the character of the house and area. As well as design a perfect house we also wanted to incorporate Vastu shastra within the build to have a balanced energy around our future family home. The only issue we faced was with the council that delayed our planning permission due to backlog and being short staffed, but Peter was on their case and would repetitively ask for updates and liaised with the planning officer and got the planning permission for our new build home. We are over the moon with the results and get lovely comments about our new home design. We highly recommend The Market Design and Build.

Market Design and Build provided us with great service when they delivered a structural design package (technical drawings and calculations) for a rear extension. This was challenging as we are on a hill and have an existing large concrete raised patio. However, some clever thinking by MDB provided a cost effective solution (to our relief as our previous architect and structural engineer had not managed to do so). MDB were also very responsive and Aaron in particular has a great, can-do, attitude which gets things done. We are more than happy to recommend MDB based on our experience to date and we are looking forward to continuing our project with them during the construction stage.

We used MDB for a rear, side and ground floor refurbishment. The team was professional, trustworthy, polite and respectful. Once the project commenced they were on-site on a consistent basis. The majority of time they kept us upto date as to when decisions would need to be made. At times the notice for when materials would be required was inadequate and left us running around. This could easily have been avoided through better planning and communication on their part. The team did provide advice and alternatives when tweaks were needed to be made to the original plan. Our builder Kuldeep was patient and explained our options to us and was willing to accommodate our requests. When matters were escalated MDB took our concerns seriously and acted to resolve. There was only a small delay in the completion of the works, taking into account Christmas holidays, 3rd party suppliers and contractors we feel this can be justified. The only point of clairity is there needs to be a better written understanding as to what the role of the PM includes and what we are expected to be responsible for, in particular as we lived on site. The snag at the end could have been organised better and completed in a more timely manner. We must say our PM Angad worked very hard to ensure all our final points of concern were completed and confirmed we were happy before he finally signed off the project. We would overall recommend MDB to others for a building project.

Excellent service from start to finish. Everyone that I dealt with had a very friendly attitude and dealt with out request very professionally. We made a ridiculous amount of revisions to our plans and they didn't complain once. If you find them charging a little bit more than other architects, it is because they offer you a lot more! Project Manager & Build team: Hamael was our designated Project Manager, we found him to be a key cornerstone in getting this project complete in the manner & standard we had originally anticipated. Despite having multiple projects he was managing at one time, there was never a scenario whereby he was unavailable to us (including outside of working hours & weekends). He showed an incredible amount of enthusiasm coupled with an experienced approach & thought processes in tackling every stage of the build. We welcomed his creative ideas & his tenacity in wanting the best results/outcomes for his clients. His endless string of contacts within the industry certainly helped us in making decisions & sourcing project related appliances. His timely manner in delivering the end of week report he provided, supported with his time management of the overall project inevitably allowed for a well organised & fairly stress free approach in getting to completion. Our Site Foreman was Surjeet, I can say in confidence that there is no part of building a house that Surjeet does not know (or have experience of) in actioning. He came everyday prepared with his team of what they were going to complete by the end of the day, to which extent they at times did not leave until they had achieved this to a standard he was happy with. There were even times we thought the project could be held up (due to timing of deliveries) - Surjeet & his team moved on to the next days set of objectives - ultimately this was the main reason for the majority of the project being completed almost 2 weeks earlier than expected. On a side note any revisions we did have on the work, there were zero complaints in rectifying from Surjeet. In summary Hamael & Surjeet & co. were a pleasure to work with & if you are fortunate enough to work with this team, you are in a safe pair of hands - a personal thanks to you both for your time & efforts. Build & Completion: Overall, very pleased with the end result of the build, it was done ahead of schedule & to a very high standard. At no point in the project were we left to feel we didn’t know what was happening, even to the extent the team directly organised & liaised with the external/private building control I hired for this build. Aaron (Director/Owner of TMDB), came out to see the project mid snagging - he did a full walk through of the project build, highlighting areas to add to the snag (he was more critical than we were, which was great to see). We were introduced to The Market Design & Build company through my sister who also had her architectural services carried out by James and the team. We have had the design and application approval to carry out a side extension on our own home that evolved from an initial idea to a final plan using the knowledge and valuable experience provided by the team. Further confidence was built with high quality image renders that clearly showed what we are looking to achieve. After initial planning approval was granted, we decided on a few minor design amendments, which were no problem at all for James and team to manage the revised planning application and provide the updated plans/calculations shortly after. Next phase is well underway to bring our plan to life through construction and sure James and the team will be there to fully support us to completion.

Originally we appointed the market design & build for the construction phase. However following a number of challenges with our architect who left us in an incredibly difficult position, James came to the rescue! James took over the architecture element at a critical phase to help us get over the line, councilling and coaching us through a really very stressful stage. The knock on effect was delays to the structural drawings. Once again James came to the rescue getting his team to get the structurals done in time. Furthermore we had challenges with getting section drawings done on time for party wall acts. Once again James came to the rescue providing these and liasing with the surveyor. In addition James and the structural engineers have also helped us navigate a tricky structural challenge. I would highly recommend them for architecture and structural engineering works

We used The Market Design & Build to produce our architectural drawings, which included rear ground floor extension, first floor part storey, loft conservation and Outbuilding. I worked closely with the design team, they were lovely to work with and always happy to help. They had the experience and knowledge to guide us through the process which really helped us as we live in a conservation area which can be very difficult to work with and make the design process more difficult, due to the strict restrictions from the council. They were happy to explore the different options and help us understand which were the best way to go forward with, their VR service was a great a way to do that. I like how they offer all the services under one roof which is really helpful. We also used their Structural Engineering services, they have been really great to work with and helping with any issues during the process. I would be happy to recommend them.

We are extremely pleased with our 6m rear extension. Hamael was our PM and did a great job making sure everything was left perfectly and above our expectations. We instructed The Market, Design & Build for our building work (a large single storey wrap around extension in Ealing). Aaron and James were fantastic after we encountered problems with the plans approved with our original architects (a different company). Basically, after a few weeks onsite a problem with the approved height of our extension was discovered. This was an imperative part of the project for us as we wanted a seamless finish between the old and new part of our house, so unfortunately we had to stop work and go back to planning. They also looked into the structural calculations we had been provided with from our previous architects and again noticed a number of areas where information given to us was questionable. We did not expect these types of problems from a well known architectural firm. We appreciate that having building work carried out is very stressful in its own right and during any given project unexpected issues can arise but trying to deal with errors in planning and building control matters just makes the whole process very disturbing from the outset. We are so grateful too Aaron and James who not only identified these problems so early on in our project but also in the manner they communicated these issues with us and presented us with possible solutions to them. They kindly offered to speak to our original architects and liaise with them in order to draw up the necessary plans and re-submit our planning application so that we could achieve the height we needed and provided us with new structural calculations for our project. We honestly don't think that our new height would have been granted without Aaron and James's invaluable advice and support. From the moment they first identified the problem to the moment our new height was granted, they were always available to discuss our concerns and offer advice. I engaged with Market Design and Build for the design work of my rear extension and garage conversion. They were extremely methodical and timely during the whole piece of work. Always came back to me explaining in detail what they are doing and took my suggestions. The architectural documents provided by them are also very clear and neat and easy to understand. I really liked their idea of ensuring proper safety of the construction wherever they thought it is better of having a column or beam etc. Although they are not engaged in the build work and I appointed my own preferred builder, we have had many times confusion during building work and I kept going back asking questions. The Virtual Reality experience is a really unique selling point by enabling us to view our extended home during the drawings stage which was fantastic and really enabled us to assess the space but also make changes where needed. It was an absolute pleasure working with Market Design to do a full build and refurbishment project including front & rear extension, full loft conversion, internal reconfiguration and refurbishment. I used Market for architectural services. Their design work was very thorough and they showed a lot of flexibility with requests to make changes. Once we were happy with the final design, we were invited to their office for a VR viewing of our redesigned house which was a valuable experience as it gave us confidence in the design. Once building regs drawings were completed, we went out to tender and decided not to use Market's builders for various reasons. That said, their architectural team and structural engineers continued to be there for us during the build process, showing a professional attitude and care for us as a client.

We used the Market Design & Build design package for our side return and kitchen extension on our Victorian terrace. They provided an excellent service. The initial design was good and the 3d model and VR were excellent to help visualise the design. They were open to our feedback and improved the design. Once the design went into planning they liaised with the planning team and made changes as necessary. Once we got to the build stage I was also really impressed with how they liaised with our builders, Marco in particular was happy to spend time explaining the structure and design to the builder. Though our project is not completed from a build perspective the design process was smooth and very reasonably priced.

Really good service from start to finish, understood exactly what we were looking for - made the whole process from initial design, through to getting planning permission and detailed calculations for our builder very straightforward. Very helpful too when it came to updating the plans for minor changes that were needed.

Roger presented a few ideas on the proposed design for our side extension. This helped us to picture how we could best utilise the space and also link them to our needs. We needed an Architect for a fairly large Extension on our home. Online reviews led us to The Market Design and they did not disappoint. We found The Market Design to be thorough and prompt. Each stage of the journey was smooth and we now are all set to build our dream home.

We instructed MDB after reading through many great reviews about them. We went through the initial design phase completely remotely via zoom, the architects there, Max, and previously Prabash, were both very knowledgeable and were able to guide us and offer expert opinion throughout this process. After much back and forth, we finally agreed on plans, which were submitted to the local council on our behalf by MDB. The whole process from initial contact through to getting our planning permission approved was made effortlessly simple by MDB, I can not recommend them enough. The Market Design and Build had completed the design stage for a new rear extension, loft conversion and porch. From the very beginning, they’ve been extremely professional, courteous and patient having been able to draw up design plans that incorporated some of their own unique ideas and our own; creating a set of plans and CGI renders/3D models that were beyond expectation. They continued to keep us informed throughout the planning stage and ensured we were satisfied with the final outcome. Moving forward, they promptly were able to provide detailed regulation drawings and structural calculations and guided us through on how this will affect the final build process. I bought the Architectural and Design package from Market Design. I would highly recommend these guys. I had loads of complications with my build from the council being greenbelt and surrounding trees. The work behind my application Market done was amazing. It felt like we had hurdles to jump to please councils and neighbours Market made it so easy. Times i felt i could not cope but Aaron jumped in and relaxed the nerves and dealt with all key holders to get my planning passed as well as introducing me to 3rd parties suppliers to help the build. The Market Design and Build have produced plans, obtained planning consent and have arranged a building works quotation. They have been responsive, helpful and happy to change plans whoever we asked. We have started our project with different vendors (builders and architect meetings) and someone introduced “The Market Design & Build” company to us for our rear and first floor extension plans. That’s the day our first meeting with the Market Design & Build company turned down to be the final decision to hand over the full project to them, they have given in days the quotations and most important Architecture drawings special thanks to James he has done an astonishing job not only in designing the house, but also helped us during the entire 2D/3D drawings of the house. I will always and happily recommend The Market Design & Build Company who are looking from start to end services under Universal Construction services to build their stunning house.

They had good ideas for the renovation and provided practical solutions for the refurbishment. They always answered our calls and kept us informed. We used them for architectural services through to completion and they were transparent on pricing and finished on time. They have good partnerships with other tradespeople and they worked well with the external kitchen and flooring fitters we used. We built a good rapport with Aaron and Kam, his project manager. We were reassured with their service and can see that they take pride in their work.

Market Design undertook the design work for a large extension, comprising a double storey side and rear extension. The whole process was smooth and well managed. Unlike other companies I had spoken to Market Design did look to maximize my gain (as opposed to settling for something they knew would get approved a lot easier). They provided valuable input on best practices and industry trends. The design went though many collaborative iterations until a suitable solution was found. Overall I am extremely happy with the work done and look forward to future work.

Market design and build made the process of renovating our property as easy as it can be. The quality of finished work is excellent and we were kept informed of all costs and given options were unforeseen costs were a possibility. We used The Market Design & Build for a kitchen extension in our family home and are extremely happy with the end result. There were a few inevitable frustrations along the way (I don't think the "project manager" added much value) but we were very impressed with the professionalism of Aaron and the reliability of Karm (our foreman). Communication was excellent throughout the project, costing was clear and the build team were efficient and had work ethic. We also used Sunny for the design phase which was great - definitely a more cost effective way of doing it than using a third party architect. My only advice is to make sure that you meet your foreman and get a good impression. Aaron runs a slick operation and knows what he is talking about, but it will be the sub-contractor build team run by the foreman that you will be dealing with day in day out. Highly recommended.

After getting quotes from a number of builders, we chose The Market Design and Build to build our single storey extension because we were impressed with Aaron's open and honest approach. We saw one of their projects and liked the fact that they assigned a dedicated team and allocated a Project Manager to each project. Nikesh managed our project and the Team, led by Igor, carried out the work. The team were arrived on site each day before 8.30 and worked until 5.30. They were brilliant! Their attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for from a builder. Nothing was an issue and even small design changes were carried out without any hassle. The Team worked really fast and many times were chasing me for materials etc!!! Igor was on site most days to tell the team what to do. This made it easy to keep up with progress. The team are very knowledgeable and provided lots of suggestions and recommendations throughout the whole project. As we stayed in the house during the build, the Team were extremely considerate in making sure we had all the amenities while they carried out the work. The project started in July 2017 and would have finished in October 2017, however, our Kitchen supplier delayed us by 2 months. The MD&B team were extremely patient and completed everything else that they could. They completed the final snagging in Jan 2018 after the all the kitchen work had been completed All the team were very skilled in all aspects of construction. The Tiling and Patio are amazing. The Electrician is really good as well. The fact that Nikesh set up a WhatsApp with Igor, Aaron and myself mean that it was easy to get a hold of someone if I had questions. Nikesh always got back to me the same day. In summary, I would highly recommend The Market Design and Build for your project.

Great company to work with. I had a complete house, internally re-modeled and refurbished, with side and rear extentions added, along with an outbuilding, and new electrical wiring and plumbing throughout. From the start, after getting several qoutes from other companies and builders, None of whom filled me with any confidence that they could start on time, or even complete the project.. Aaron was enthuiastic from the start and immediately had some great ideas. Over the course of the following weeks several meetings took place, including viewing recently completed properties, and I noted, Aaron without fail, reurned every single phone call, email, text, and was always on time for appointments. This was very impressive ideed after the experience I had just had with other compnies. I was re-assured by Aaron that a deicated team would also be assigned to me for the duration of the 6 month project, and that the builder would not be disappearing off to do other jobs. The assigned project mananger, Satish, was professional and calm throughout, and was available at all times. A few unforseen situations were dealt with by Aaron and Satish quickly and without fuss allowing the project to proceed on schedule. As promised, the project completed within quoted price, and on time within 6 months, which was very useful as the whole family had moved out and were renting a property nearby for the duration. If the build had gone over by even a few weeks, it would have cost an additional 6 months rent. In the end, the whole family are really pleased with the finished outcome, and especially the way the company and all the subcontractors, conducted themselves in a professional manner. I would certainly recommend Market Design and Build, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

This is a review for the Design Service that Aaron and Sunny offer.... After meeting 3 Different Architects and Designers we found that there was a clear difference in the ideas, enthusiasm and attention to detail that Sunny and Aaron offered. They had great ideas and we talked about various options that was open to us within our budget, which i found lacking with the others i met. I cant recommend them highly enough, if you want enthusiastic quality ideas, great communication, and stress free planning permission approval - then you need go no further.

We used The Market Design and Build to undertake our extension and loft conversion. It was a major job which comprised of a loft conversion, garage conversion, kitchen extension and reconfiguring of rooms, so naturally I was wary about which builders I chose and got a few quotes from various companies. From the start I felt comfortable talking to Aaron and he really seemed passionate about wanting to do the job and had some good creative ideas about what we could achieve. He also invited us to see other jobs they have completed to see what their finishing is like which helped put us at ease. Initially he told me that the job could be done in approximately 5 months, which I did not quite believe as all other quotes that I was given, I was told 6 or 7 months, so mentally I added an extra month to their estimated time, but they managed to stick to their original estimate and our job will be completed close to the time given. Communication was a big thing for me as I was not able to be at the site a lot due to work. We had a WhatsApp group which included my wife and I, Aaron, the project manager, the foreman, and the electrician. I found this extremely useful as decisions could be made quickly as photos and videos could be uploaded instantly. Photos were also taken and shared on the group to show progress made meaning everyone could be on the same page and I could be kept up to date. When I did need to make a call, I was nearly always able to get through and never left waiting when I couldn’t. The team assigned to us were great to work with. Satish, the project manager, worked hard in order to make sure our vision was met. He was very calm and professional throughout, even when issues did arise which helped kept me at ease. He worked hard to make sure everything was going to schedule and continually kept me informed of progress. Sonu the foreman and his team worked tirelessly to get the job done. With a job this size, some problems out of our control were inevitable, but they were dealt with quickly and with minimum fuss. I never felt the The Market were trying to make extra money out of me and any extra costs incurred were due to unforeseeable problems. I would have no issue recommending The Market to anyone looking to have work done to their house and have already recommended them to friends and family and would use them again without hesitation.

I hired The Market and Design build for my project to renovate my house. Aaron initially came round a few times times and he showed a great deal of commitment. I like the project Manager based approach as you have a single point of contact if you have any issues etc. Nikesh was very accommodating and he was always contactable. We appointed The Market Design and Build the renovation work at our detached family home in February 2017. The team were great to work with and professional at all times. From the initial architectural/design consultations right through to completion, it was a pleasure to watch them construct something they were clearly passionate about. We constructed a new 4m rear extension fully fitted with floor to ceiling aluminium sliding doors, which was designed as a new modern kitchen/diner. A single storey side extension was constructed as a utility room, the whole house was fully rendered using a coloured silicone render as well as changing the roof tiles to grey slate. The house looks completely brand new and very modern. We are extremely happy with the services provided by The Market Design and Build and have already recommended them to family and friends. We used the Market Design and Build for a major nine month project extending and reconfiguring our house in Teddington. Aaron provided the most competitive quote from seven tenders and was as excited and enthusiastic about the project as we were. We had a great team, with a superb dedicated project manager (Satish) and site manager (Sonu), who were creative and pragmatic and genuinely nice to work with. Inevitably not everything went to plan but we always resolved things with the company with the minimum amount of fuss and within budget. Aaron is honest and fair and does not look to increase the price for any change to scope (as some other firms do). The quality of the work is superb as well. We would recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

We obtained a few quotations for the works we wanted to carry out but The Market Design & Build were the only company that showed genuine enthusiasm for the project so we instructed them. Their fee estimate was also a factor. We were very pleased with the works. We had our loft converted into a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and Velux windows and a Juliet balcony, our garage converted into a living room with double doors leading into the garden, a chimney breast removed and a new entrance door created into an existing bedroom, our existing bathroom completely redone, a new boiler system installed and a new wall built at the front of our driveway. There were usually three chaps on sight each day. English is clearly not a first language but they were always extremely polite and if we had questions they would do their best to answer them or ask us to speak with the project manager who would phone or whatsapp that day. We had a one year old running around and they were always very sweet with him and bought him a toy car at the end of the project. We received photos of the works completed that day if we asked which was nice as the roof coming off was interesting! They usually arrived around 9.00 a.m. and often worked past 5.30 p.m. They worked a few Saturdays towards the end of the project. We would certainly recommend their services.

The Market Design and Build has just finished a big project for us and we couldn’t be happier. The property is an old converted barn so the challenge was huge. Obviously there were some set backs but the communication in between us (property owners) and The Market was excellent so problems were solved quickly. These guys are not here to screw you over. Before signing the contract they guaranteed us that they wouldn’t leave the project until we were 100% happy.. And they didn’t! We are sure to use The Market again if we need more work done on a property in the future.
