Sheldon Peever is an award winning multi disciplinary Architect's design studio with a carefully considered approach to its work. We work on a spectrum of projects from contemporary domestic extensions & interiors through to larger scale public & commercial buildings, from design concept to completion with a keen eye for detail. We like to work closely with our clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor a solution that meets their needs. We have a particular expertise in working sympathetically with listed buildings and in conservation areas to provide highly designed solutions. The studio collective was established by Christine Peever & Andrew Sheldon in 2011 having graduated from Brighton & East London schools of architecture and worked in professional practice for 10+ years. Christine is a Chartered Architect, RIBA member & is ARB registered.

We worked with Christine for our home extension. She was insightful throughout, had great flair and good ideas for how to bring light into the space. Christine also helped us through the legal/planning work and sorted out all the contractor visits etc. I would highly reccomend!

Christine produced a major piece of work for us - almost completely knocking down a detached house and rebuilding something completely different. We gave her a difficult brief because there were a couple of structural features we wanted retained while asking for a very different style of house to the original. Christine produced a superb piece of design work. We are delighted with the finished home and it receives glowing praise from all who visit. Christine was creative, solution-oriented, efficient, cost effective and easy to work with. We would highly recommend her.

CHRISTINE from Sheldon Peever came up with two options both of which demonstrated she had listened to our wish list and creatively found a way to design them. The drawings provided were very detailed and time was spent with us discussing and documenting all the small details, e.g where plug sockets should go.

My wife and I appointed Sheldon Peever to assist with the design of a proposed basement and separately to provide advice for options to extend two properties we wanted to purchase. Christine, who assisted us on each occasion listened to what we were hoping to achieve in terms of design and provided various options that satisfied our specification. She had excellent knowledge of the regulations and understanding of what would be acceptable to the planning department. We found Christine to be very reliable, personable, and incredibly helpful. We chose Christine from Sheldon Peever Studio to work with us to redesign our 1930s house from a very traditional, three bedroom property to a modern, five bedroom family home including a double storey side and back extension, and roof conversion. On meeting Christine, it was immediately clear that she understood what we wanted from our home and subsequently produced well thought out, clever and innovative designs to meet our needs, whilst taking into account the period features of the property. We employed Christine Peever to provide us with architectural services to renovate a 4 storey property dating back to 1912. The property was in a very poor state and we had no experience of such a project. Christine was an excellent listener to our needs and I felt she understood our strengths and weaknesses as her clients and adapted herself to us both as individuals to create our vision. Her note taking was faultless and she carried out all changes with exactness and efficiency, of which there were many! We also have to thank her for her endless patience during the decision making processes. She pushed us hard to make as many decisions as possible before going out to tender and this has inevitably assisted us with keeping our budget under control. We look forward to welcoming her back to the property shortly so that she can see what she helped us to create.
