    “Magnus proved himself excellent at making best use of space. He spotted that the original design we had for our granny annex put the bathroom in a prime position for living space. He produced an alternative design that moved the stairs and tricked a usable bathroom in underneath. As a result, we have a beautiful, good sized and sunny kitchen / dining space overlooking the garden and we observe that our guests spend a lot of time in this room as it is such good quality space.     “Without any knowledge of this company other than online information,I tasked Karen to look at development possibilities for my 200 year old cottage. I did not want to move house though the cottage was just too small for my extending family. The resultant design that was approved by the local authority exceeded my wildest dreams and I solely put this down to Karen and her team's design talent and total perseverance. We really are indebted to her for what she achieved. I cannot thank Karen enough. She is also highly professional, focussed and very disciplined in terms of timescales and meeting deadlines. Clearly, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company.”

    “NVDC are a very professional and accomplished architect's practice whom I have hired on a number of different projects, ranging from the high end refurbishment of a property in Glasgow in 2009, a complete house refurbishment in Wimbledon in 2012 which involved structural changes and more recently an ongoing project involving the design of a rear two storey extension to my house. Their attention to detail, creativity and ability to interpret from a rough sketch of what we were trying to achieve to a full set of architectural plans has been very impressive. NVDC have always exceeded my expectations and also assume responsibility for resolving many of the complications involving planning regulations, structural engineering and the builders you choose to realise your project. I am certain that without the guidance and services of NVDC, our projects would not been as successful in coming to life as they have been. Thanks!”

    “Sofia Jackson is incredibly knowledge about the construction industry and handled all of my queries straight away. Sofia is a joy to work with, she enters every meeting with a smile and handles all issues promptly and effectively. She is very creative and treats evey design aspect as a work of art.     “Coogan Architects have been fantastic throughout the design process and we really couldn't have achieved the space we have without them. Laura has communicated extensively despite our build being split into two phases (second part still to be completed). Her patience and professional advice both in person and over the phone has been astounding over the last two years. We asked for dormers to be added to a semi-detached bungalow and a single story rear extension. The total extended floor space being approx. 72 sq metres. The contemporary and minimal design produced including eternit panelling, zinc and cedar cladding lifts their work away from residential and suburban to magazine chic. The space created upstairs is outstanding and difficult to believe was achieved from the eaves (2 large bedrooms and bathroom). We are eagerly awaiting the downstairs work to start (AGM Contracts, Paisley) in order that we can fully appreciate all the effort that has been put in! I would absolutely recommend Barry and Laura to anyone!”
