About Us
Back Room Architecture & Design was started by Matt Hargreaves in 2018.
Matt is an award winning architect and design manager with over 10 years experience in the construction industry. His career outside of Back Room has given him a breadth of experience across residential, commercial, leisure and masterplanning schemes with notable projects including the Corn Exchange in Manchester, whereby Matt acted as the lead architect, and the Kampus development also in Manchester, whereby Matt worked for the main contractor as their design manager.
Matt studied at Newcastle University and the Manchester School of Architecture,
and qualified as an architect in 2014.
