Elite Kitchens Manchester

“Elite Kitchens..a name that not only sounds like its taken at least three seconds to create but is cheesier than a big lump of Red Leicester . Not just that, the title by definition leaves the owner Paul O'Brien a lot to live up to. Now when people are looking to spend money on their kitchen there are a couple of facts we need to consider. First of all the kitchen is the most used room in the house. Its not only a room, its a place of work and a place for social gathering..so there's no point in penny pinching . In a world overflowing with cliches heres one that relates to Paul "You only get what you pay for......I'll warn you here...Elite are not cheap... BUT his work is top drawer ...if you want a beutifull ,bespoke, robust, functional and long lasting kitchen then contact Paul”

“We converted a pottery into a home, so the space designated for the kitchen had previously housed kilns. Rob walked in, took one look at the space, and knew instantly how to maximise it. We were about to get it very wrong by creating a new wall in front of the sloping bedrock, whereas Rob cleverly utilised the available space by insetting the cabinets into the wall from a workable height (see pics). The design worked extremely well. I can honestly say that the kitchen inspired me to cook. Previously, cooking was a chore; something I had to do and definitely not something I wanted to do. It was a revelation to experience a well designed, extremely useable kitchen. I especially liked having self-cleaning ovens and a large bench top space. The kitchen is now eight years old and a tradesman who recently visited commented, "It's amazing, it looks the same as it did when you first had it fitted." So it's been a sound investment both gastronomically and financially!”
Arlington Interiors

“Arlington Interiors was the first place I visited looking for a new kitchen. I walked in and was completely bowled over by what was on display. The designs, the quality, the unusual and exciting gadgets available all to make your kitchen work just that bit better. However, do not do what I did next. I walked out. I had been approached politely and asked if I needed help, which I declined. I left thinking these kitchens were so out of my price range they were 'designer' and 'expensive'. Anyway, having visited several other run of the mill kitchen suppliers, my husband was exasperated with me saying they were all just 'ok' and that I could not get excited by any of them. We did get a quote but my husband said he wasn't going to pay it if I could not get any enthusiasm for it. The designs and colours were nothing to write home about and as for the quality, there was no comparison. So I took my husband to see what I meant by wanting something a bit different. He like me, was bowled over by the kitchens on display and taken with one kitchen in particular. So we decided to ask how far from the 'ordinary' kitchen quote could we realistically get? Richard listened and came up with an some amazing ideas. We had a presentation, and really liked the way in which we were treated. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was explained in great detail, showing us features from the presentation from what was on display in the showroom. Surprisingly the kitchen included bigger and much better quality appliances than what had been in the other quote. It also included some exciting and different features that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Most of all though we were surprised by the cost. Yes it was a little more expensive but not by much, not considering we now have the most amazing designer kitchen that looks 10 times better and much more expensive. Also we could have cut the cost had we gone for a different work top, so much of the higher cost was of our own doing. It has also been greeted with a wow! by everyone who has seen it. So much so that a few people have been to Arlington to have a look with the intent to buy a new kitchen themselves. We never felt badgered into buying anything. At all times Richard, (I'm sure Patience is Richards middle name!) Nic, Ben and Hailey were friendly, polite and very very professional. They go that extra mile for their customers. We also felt they really wanted to help us find exactly what we wanted, and would move and jiggle things around until we were happy, something which we did not find anywhere else. Both my husband and myself are delighted with our kitchen and get a buzz every time we use it. It is a fantastic room in the house not just somewhere to cook and feed the family. I highly recommend Arlington Interiors, go have a look and ask for a quote.”

“JDC were highly professional, knowledgeable, and delivered on every single promise. Not once did we feel pushed or pressured to make a decision. The entire installation team were happy to answer all questions, provided us with options on every design choice and left the house spotless once installation was over, quality of the finished project is outstanding and we couldn't be happier. A professional cleaning team is also arranged once everything is over. Simply amazing!”

“Me and my husband started meeting builders, architects, designers and interior designers mid 2017 to discuss the extension of our home. Jake stood out from the crowd showing enthusiasm and passion for our project and his work at Orange Design Studio. We hired Orange Design Studio to carry out design works for the extension of our Grade II listed house. They created a number of fantastic schemes that addressed our brief, but also come up with another scheme that was something we hadn't even thought about. It enabled us to create something that was contemporary, open zone and light in a house that was segmented, dark and traditional. Jake advised us that planning may be a challenge due to the site been in a conservation area and with the property been listed. However, they submitted and oversaw the planning process, addressing the planners comments and conservation officer comments. We were really surprised and delighted when he called to say that planning had been approved and we could now move on to the next stage. Shortly after we then received a very thorough and extensive drawing package that covered every detail along with the schedule of works, specification and health and safety documentation. Essentially it was everything we needed to get the construction project going. Which for a couple like us two, who have no experience in building, was a great relief. It also put a lot of confidence in us for Jake and his team at Orange. We tell everyone we know considering extending, or building a new home to give Orange a call. Jake and his team were absolutely 10/10 and made the whole process enjoyable. We highly recommend! L & I”

“We live abroad. After being impressed with the quality of smaller jobs they have done for us, we have just had a major 4 bed detached house refurbishment completed by Gary and his team at LHLS. Layout changes, new walls, plastering, electrics, plumbing, bathrooms, staircase, new joinery, windows, kitchen and utility, loft access and boarded out, new garage door, paving cleaned and relaid ..etc etc I can't praise them enough. Fantastic job! Incredible attention to detail. Everything left clean and tidy. Nothing too much trouble. Turnkey project - rented out to tenants before I'd even been to see the final work!! Gary has lots of experience, employs quality workmen, and treated our property as if it was his own. Working to a tight budget - everything planned carefully and a huge project completed to a great standard, as per quotation, and in the shortest possible time. We are delighted with the service and standard of workmanship that we have received. Nothing too much trouble. Great communication and expert advice. If you are considering ANY work on your home, then you must contact LHLS. It may not be the cheapest quote you get - but we found out that they go the extra mile for their clients, and more importantly, the work has to meet with Gary's approval before he would sign it off, so we could sleep at night knowing that everything would be completed as we wanted and to the highest standard. Trust is priceless! Thanks for adding £ thousands to the value of our property above what we have spent. You and your team work incredibly hard, take great pride in what you do and you deserve every success. Nigel & Maureen Morgan”

“I've photographed several domestic projects designed by Emma and Edwina and remain impressed by the creativity of their architecture, whether it be extensions and/or transformations. They bring a level of quality to both the concept and implementation of their projects. They design stunning spaces. Their work oozes attention to detail and - without exception - their clients all speak highly of their work. I too have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“Having used the professional services of Design Solutions 8 years ago for a commercial project, converting a 1930's art deco building into residential flats on which Simon of Design Solutions, Poynton also acted as our Project Manager, there was only one company we were then going to use for our house extension and the re-modelling of our home. Simon is professional, approachable, enthusiastic and full of great ideas and his vast number of contacts in the building industry were invaluable to us when it came to both the design and fit out of the extension. Simon recommended 3 builders to us and we chose one we had worked with before on another commercial project on which Simon had also done the design work. The builder he recommended was perfect for the job and backed up by Simon's recommendation, we had complete confidence in him, so important when it is your home and having confidence in the design and build team is absolutely key. As with every project Design Solutions have worked on for my family, we were absolutely delighted with the finished build. Our home not only functions better for us but looks so much more attractive inside and out too. I would highly recommend Design Solutions for being friendly, very approachable along with their professionalism, great advice and expertise.”

“I contacted Jane when we wanted to extend our house to add a new room and replace an existing (but dilapidated) utility room. Jane offered a knowledgeable and insightful perspective on the project, and suggested we converted our garage rather than extend, as it could save us money. This we did. From the start of the project, Jane provided a professional and practical service, allowing us to choose from a 'shopping basket' of services she could provide for us. We chose for Jane to provide a light-touch project management role, which involved drawing and submitting the plans, dealing with building control, structural engineer, and quantity surveyor, dealing with the tenders for the job and dealing with the builders during the build. This worked out really well for us, it being our first project and having busy day-jobs. We were kept informed at each step, and consulted when appropriate. Jane had to contend with an unusually shaped roof, which was replaced, raised and extended, together with sound-proofing designed into the construction. She also managed to make clever use of the space to include not only the required downstairs loo, but a shower room, which together with the new music room has effectively created a 'guest wing'. We are very pleased with the result - the new brickwork and roof sit alongside the existing house as though part of the original build, thanks to Jane's attention to detail”
