“Professional, enthusiastic and with great attention to detail I contacted Curtis in relation to a houses to flats conversion which required planning permission. The conversion had been started by the previous owner but following completion , the council had served a prohibition order deeming the building unsafe and informed me that no planning had been requested and therefore, a retrospective application was required. Curtis didn’t just take this for granted and before getting on with the drawings, he took the initiative to probe the validity of these claims and in his research, found a historical application which had been approved. He then took it upon himself to contact the council and successfully argued that no application was required which spared me the application fees as well as a long waiting time and meant that work could proceed straight away. This wouldn’t have happened had it not been for his initiative and attention to detail. His attitude towards the project really made him stand out so I would certainly recommend him and engage his services again in the future.”
