CPA offered a staged payment service which allowed us to project manage, which they thought, correctly, was suitable for our size of project, and was our preference. They were very pleasant to work with and acted as a team, which was helpful if issues needed sorting out and our appointed architect, Warren Hagues, was not immediately available. Warren and Matt were sensitive to our knowledge and ideas for the house, and our desire to modernise and extend the lower ground floor whilst retaining the charm of the 1850's house. Warren worked to a strict timetable at our request. Their advice and contacts were enormously helpful in achieving planning approval, dealing with structural aspects, handling building control and statutory bodies, and dealing with party wall agreements. We knocked walls out, overhauled plumbing, added a room and roof terrace, and achieved a good quality D energy rating, including installing PV panels. They supported us through the tender process, providing a builder with whom we were delighted to work. A very successful outcome, and happy to recommend them.

We had an excellent experience using Chartered Practice Architects for a ground floor and loft extension and complete refurbishment of our home.
