We draw & submit plans for Local Authority Planning & Building Regulation Approval, whether you know exactly what you want or need help with the design we can help you achieve the extension, new build or conversion you require. So, where do you start….. Obtaining a quotation is easy, either contact us with a brief description of your project & we will either arrange to call out to see you (free of charge) or if we have enough information we will reply with a full written quotation. Alternatively you can call the office on 01623 840118 & have a chat to discuss your proposals in more detail. The quote will be specific to your project & be broken down to include all the fees we believe will be required along the way (such as planning permission, building regulations, structural calculations etc.). If you choose to go ahead we will arrange to undertake a measured survey of your property or land. Depending on the time of year, & how busy we are at the time, the lead time for surveys can be around 2 weeks. We then aim to have the first set of drawings to you within another 2 weeks. The drawings you receive will be based on the detailed discussions we have during the survey & very often require little or no amendments. However, once you see the scheme on paper you may wish to make changes, normally we suggest you sketch the changes on the drawing & send it back to us but alternatively if you want to talk things through you are welcome to call in at our Warsop office & will go through the alterations together. If you have trouble visualizing your project we have 3D software which can help (please let us know if you will require this at quotation stage). Once you are happy with the scheme we will apply to obtain all relevant permissions on your behalf. We act as your agent throughout the process so you can sit back & let us deal with everything for you. The type of permissions we mostly deal with are; Planning permission Building Regulations Severn Trent Building Over Agreements In the instance that your project requires structural or thermal calculations we will consult with one of our external partners (we will let you know this at quotation stage). We are happy to obtain quotations on your behalf for your approval.
