JACO BAM

As a cabinet and furniture maker we regularly work with Jaco Bam. It’s a pleasure to work with him, he is professional and very creative, and his projects are tenaciously designed to the smallest detail. All his projects we were involved in were very carefully and precisely planed, all deadlines kept up to date and most important, satisfied clients. Right from the outset Jaco seemed to have a very clear idea of what I was trying to achieve with the remodeling of my flat. We shared a vision, which meant that the whole process became less daunting and I trusted him implicitly. During the initial stages he talked me through the process of his drawings, and we happily agreed on a plan, and I was fully confident I had considered all of the potential options. As work began he talked clearly through everything with me at each stage so that I felt in control. He went above and beyond whilst helping with the communication with the builders, and was always present to offer advice, and design opinion from larger issues right down to the smallest details. I was delighted with the results would highly recommend Jaco. I would certainly not hesitate to call on his services again.

We have worked with Jaco on two projects. He has a very keen eye for detail and always thinks outside of the box. If you are looking for something completely different or just a project with a "bit of a twist" then Jaco is the right Architect. A real gentlemen - polite, listens well and gives the time you need.

Jaco created a brilliant design for our top floor, comprising of two bedrooms, a Jack and Jill bathroom, and landing study area, with an eaves attic and loft space as well. He took into account all our storage requirements and encouraged us to take a long term view and envisaged our use of the space once the children have left home. He came up with several options and had some excellent ideas for different room layouts that we had not considered. He produced some excellent professional drawings and also a very clear schedule of works, including suggestions relating to the look and style of the rooms. Jaco also helped us liase with the planners at our local council and listened to their requirements, coming back with a design in line with their requests without compromising what we wanted. He communicated well with our builders and structural engineers and responded positively when we wanted to add things to the existing design during the project. We are delighted with the end result and would highly recommend Jaco's architectural services. Our building company were so impressed with his work, they recommended him for other projects in which they were involved. Overall, Jaco has been patient, enthusiastic, highly motivated and professional, and wonderful to work with throughout our project and we are thrilled with the results.
