About Us

Mark Stevens Architects is an RIBA award winning architectural practice based in London. We are architects, designers and makers dedicated to creating distinctive, beautifully crafted buildings and comfortable spaces to come together, live and work. Collaborating with homeowners and creatively-driven developers and clients, we design projects rich with detail and full of meaning, including arts and cultural schemes, new homes, house extensions, residential refurbishments and commercial buildings at all scales. We’re known for sensitive interventions, where old meets new and the careful mediation between the two. But whether old or new, our process is creative and thorough, considering the interplay of site, light, views, history, material and people’s experiences alongside new technologies, sustainability and delivery methods to develop innovative and authentic responses. With an intuitive understanding of building, we work from concept to completion, delivering projects to the highest standards while adding value at every stage.

Mark jumped onto a residential project with an incredibly tight deadline. I was impressed by his pro-active and efficient approach. Although the project did not proceed due to unforeseen reasons I could see that he had a very holistic design concept. Would highly recommend!

Grade 2 listed conservation residential projec

Mark and his team restored, designed and oversaw a grade 2 listed conservation residential project in Mayfair that was then featured in Wallpaper magazine. He repeatedly went beyond the call of duty to fine tune the design and correct any construction oversights and interacted excellently with all the numerous other professionals and constituencies involved. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Giles Oliver Limited , were appointed main contractor for the refurbishment and construction of a CLT extension to a converted Victorian School on Tower Bridge Road , London. Mark Stevens led the project and throughout the works was always responsive and helpful. The level of information produced was always Clear and precise and was always responsive to any questions that we may have during the works.
