After meeting with several architects, Mike stood out with his creativity, attention to detail and understanding of our goals for our property. Once we gave him the green light, he surpassed our expectations with his ideas for the plans and with every iteration he went above and beyond to optimise from both an aesthetic and practical point of view. After several rounds of iterations, we have now approved the design and are moving into planning – we couldn’t be happier with the service that Mike has provided and hope to be able to use his services later on in the project.

After considering many architectural companies we chose MichaelJane Architecture. We knew we wanted a full service right through to project management which is something MJA offers. Just on our initial inquiry, with no guarantees of whom we would appoint, Mike still came out and met us face to face at our home and guided us through what each step would entail, sharing some exciting ideas we had not even thought of. After choosing to go with MJA Mike took charge of the architectural designs, and we were absolutely delighted. We are now working with the whole team and it has been an excellent experience. We engaged with Mike at the nascent stage of our project to renovate the house (kitchen upgrade + loft conversion + first floor side extension). He has been extremely helpful and professional at every stage from the initial design iterations to council application. We decided to go along with the entire suite of services including design, schedule of works and full project management. It has worked brilliantly for us because of the knowledge that Mike, Iveta and Jacques have brought to the table. I believe the services are worth it because in the long run, they helped us save costs by knowing exactly what we should be paying for, where to source the materials from and how much. We iterated multiple times through the mood boards and spelt out the full schedule of works listing out the exact costs and timelines. Would strongly recommend.

Project date 2019 We bought an old property which had burnt to the ground in a devastating fire. Mike was incredibly talented in designing a new home for us using the footprint of the old house. We were amazed at his attention to detail and how he was able to maximize the light and the view. We have quirky ideas for finishes which he helped us embrace with confidence. We are in the middle of a big project, loft extension, 2 storey extension at the back... We talked to few architects and all of them kept putting hurdles in our way until we met Mike. He listened, discussed and understood what we wanted and came up with Solutions, not problems. He was always happy to change and tweek the plans and did so many times until we were finally happy with the outcome. He is very patient and has very good ideas. I cannot recommend him enough. He is brilliant and has time for you and never rushes you. We are so fortunate to find him.

We recently decided to undertake a renovation of our older home. A combination of upgrading the existing rooms and an extension. A friend recommended Mike from Michael Jane Architecture as we were struggling with the plans on our own and lacking in vision as to what could be achieved to fit our requirements and budget. We liked the fact that Mike has years of experience and as soon as he arrived for the site visit, he was able to translate our wish list into some great suggestions which we would never have thought of on our own. He has drawn up a great set of plans and along with his team has sorted all the planning and approvals for us, which was a relief. We would definitely recommend Michael Jane Architecture if you are thinking of undertaking a building project in Greater London.
