I highly recommend Smart House Extension. I had quite vague ideas for a side and rear extension, but Nesh used his skills and experience to turn this into amazing plans. He really listened to my requirements and what would suit our family. I was delighted when the planning permission came through this week. Nesh was always professional. He would get back to me quickly if I had any questions and answer them fully. I have found the service so efficient and reliable and am now looking forward to the construction phase.

Our project was a Kitchen redesign and we did wonder if a smaller project would command a good service from busy architects. In practice, we have received excellent service in terms of design and project management. We worked most closely with all team members & they all made important contributions. Daf was great to work with. The practice provided a great design which Swati finessed as the work progressed. She worked hard to identify great fittings and was an excellent project manager. SmartHouse linked us up with a builder who turned out to be very professional with a great work ethic. I first started dealing with Nesh and thereafter Swati way back in early 2018. Their designs for other clients originally caught our eye and after speaking to them, they emerged top of our shortlist. Subsequently, I've gone through a few iterations of differing designs with them, always been dealt with in a prompt professional way culminating in them drawing up and pushing the scheme through planning which was by no means a given. Over several meetings, nothing was too much trouble and their positivity in seeking out solutions to any potential problems or concerns on our behalf was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend.

I was aware of this project before Sunder Architects took it on and they have done a stunning job in maximising the potential for the site as there were limitations on the area that could be used for building. The finished house reflects the clients' aspirations perfectly and is a great example of finessed contemporary design that creates a home, not just a house.

When we met with the Smart House Extension team, we'd already discussed our vision with several other architects. They were the only ones that only discussed solutions, rather than compromises. They immediately appealed due to their practical approach, including a wealth of knowledge on the practical aspects of house-building, and how to achieve our goals within budget. They provided floor plan drawings, elevation drawings, and a 3d drawing that we could play around with and use to walk around the house as it will eventually look. We've now ended up with an architecture for our house that completely fulfills our requirements and original vision, a recommended builder, and planning was permitted first time by the council with no amendments. Can't ask for more really!

We used Smart House Extension to provide us with professional guidance, take our thoughts and turn them into clear plans which were then submitted to our local authority for planning permission. From the very outset we were hugely impressed by the support we received. Nothing was too much trouble and we always felt that someone was on the end of the phone or email to speak to us whenever we had any thoughts or questions. The plans were clear and fitted exactly with our brief. The actual planning approval process could not have been smoother. We were granted permission ahead of our anticipated schedule and with almost no conditions - we got everything that we had hoped for when we began the project.
