“Designing a house with John and Marilyn was a pleasure. They really worked to understand our needs and our taste. We get lots of compliments on the overall look of the house as well as the beautiful details like the coffered ceiling in our kitchen, the custom backsplash, built-in living room cabinets, windows in the great room, window seat on the stairway...and on and on. It has been a joy to live in the house they designed because it's just what we wanted. New Leaf Collaborative didn't miss a thing. After moving in, we also worked with Marilyn to buy furniture, rugs and window treatments. She already knew our style and what would fit well in the house.”

We were so pleased with the work that we hired them again in 2010 to design our basement renovation. This year they designed a portico for the front entry that will be constructed in 2012. The design work was a collaborative process whereby we, as homeowners, were consulted at each stage of the process. The work for each phase came within the budget estimated at the outset.”

We also appreciate that he listened to our concerns and made adjustments to the plans based on our back and forth discussions. He was always on time for meetings and responsive to our requests and questions. We were impressed with the level of detail that was in our final plans.
