“We worked with Alex for approx. 2 years on our project which was just completed in July 2013. We own an 1875 Carriage House that we were looking to update, renovate and expand to modern specifications. From start to finish I felt like our dream project was in good hands. We basically tore down 75% of the original structure, renovated the remaining 25% and expanded up adding a lot of second floor living space. We found it a pleasure to work with Alex and our builder found the same thing to be true. We would recommend ADL III highly. This project totaled approx. $600,000.”

The result was perfect and totally improved the value of my home. I wanted an open space first floor and she delivered it.”

Her taste and industry knowledge are both impressive, but most importantly she did a great job of working my thoughts and aesthetic into the design of my home as well. She always presented me with well thought-out and great options, and she made the entire process smooth, on time and within the agreed upon budget (by having the honest conversations up front). I have lived with the design for almost 3 years now, and it seems each day I am silently thanking Sussan for everything from the overall well planned architectural layout to something as simple as a well-placed light fixture or cozy seating arrangement. I continue to use Sussan on an as -needed basis, and I would recommend her without hesitation and wholeheartedly.”

“Wade Johnson of R Wade Johnson Design designed a study for me that maximizes a small space, made it attractive and fully functional, and redid the lighting so that what was a dark and rather forbidding space became inviting. I work for long hours writing and find that my study is a wonderful place to work. Wade Johnson was creative, endlessly patient with the various little changes and suggestions I made, and charming and funny in the process! A thorough-going pleasure to work with such a talented architect/designer.”

I found the firm to be very insightful and had I went through with the purchase I would have hired them. I've never seen plans so detailed before and that detailed mind set goes into every project that Andreas and I have worked on.
