“We used Lauren for a complete remodel including kitchen, multiple bathrooms, playroom, and bedroom. We used her for complete architectural and interior design. She was with us from start to finish of the project and we owe the success to her. Lauren has great design skills which is completely obvious by viewing her portfolio. The equally as helpful (and likely more important) skills that she brings to the table are her attention to detail and her perseverance in dealing with the contractors. She is there at every meeting to crack the proverbial whip and is very responsive (NYC responsive ;) to email/ phone/ text. I have and will continue to recommend her without reservation.”

“We are in the design stage of building our retirement home. Caleb Johnson and his Team took a very restrictive and tight square footage lot and created our dream house. We were so excited! Next came the local Planning Board, state agencies, permits, more permits, more restrictions etc and we were so discouraged. But Caleb, Josh and Michael never stopped and have kept our dream alive with their experience, vision and professional contacts and resources. Demolition is next and we look forward to continuing the journey with Caleb Johnson Architects and Builders.”

“For more than two years commencing in August 2002 I worked with Hope and Brad of Salmon Falls Woodworks to restore and renovate a large c1725 house my husband and I purchased in 2001. We lived in the house throughout the project, and what could have been fraught with tension and difficulty was a wonderful adventure. There is not a room in the house that they did not touch with their skill and care. The kitchen and laundry area presented a major design and construction challenge, but Brad and Hope transformed a warren of small dark rooms into a beautiful, sunny space that functions perfectly for two active cooks. While remaining true to the spirit and aesthetic of the house this space now has 21st century efficiency and satisfies our modern desire to connect the interior with the garden and landscape beyond. It was a delight to work with two people whose high standards matched my own. Hope and Brad are experienced craftsmen who work with great sensitivity, conscientiousness and integrity. Further, their design and execution skills for both cabinet making and general construction are unmatched in my experience. Any client is well advised to trust Salmon Falls Woodworks to deliver a beautifully executed project.”

“Graham Architects designed our beautiful and unique home. Mr. Graham was always professional, friendly, reasonable, and worked with the builders to help reduce building costs. He was flexible, patient and helpful with our changes. He has a nice even temperament and is quick to smile. Most helpful during the stress of building your home! While compatibility is very important, also is the architect's eye. Mr. Graham designed a beautiful and interesting roof line which respected our goal of honoring the Shaker style of clean simple lines. We are amazed how he could see this and put it to paper. Mr. Graham visited the building site regularly and if we were concerned about something, he visited promptly and met with the building contractors. He has designed many beautiful buildings and existing home improvements in our area.”

“Mark did a wonderful passive solar home design for us. We are off the grid in an area that has plenty of nature around it that we did not want to compete with. He worked with us to meet our wishes for a small footprint structure with all the essential living space on one floor with doorways and spaces that could accommodate a wheelchair if the necessity ever arises. He generated floor plans, elevations (interior as well as exterior) and renderings of the exterior so we were able to see exactly what we were getting. It was an excellent set of construction documents completed on schedule and on budget. We are extremely satisfied.”

“We hired Anne Callender as the architect for our remodel of the Wolf Cove Inn in Poland Maine. We walked through our thoughts on desired changes but also asked Anne to think "outside the box" of what we described. We eventually selected one of her outside the box ideas and couldn't be happier with the result. Anne stuck with us along the way through the design, permitting and demolition process until we had a complete set of drawings that satisfied out needs as well as those of our tradesman and the regulatory authorities. The quality of her work and support were outstanding.”
