“I had the pleasure of working with Barbara this past September when my husband and I finally made the move and downsized. The new house was significantly smaller than what we were used to and I was concerned about size and design. As soon as Barbara walked into my house, she was ready to work and create. We discussed my vision and then she did the rest. On her very first visit, we shopped for furniture. She knew exactly what she was looking for and we searched several stores before finding the perfect couch and chairs for my small living room. I told her I wanted to create a sitting area in my kitchen and she found me the perfect love seat. So by our first meeting we had the foundation and then she began to work her magic. Every time she came to my house, her car was chockfull of accessories --pictures, lamps, vases, tables -- you name it, she hauled it. Of course I had the option of refusing anything, but everything she brought was spot on. I'll never know how she managed to find pictures that had the exact same bird on it as the kitchen love seat! She has an amazing eye for detail! And her paint color selections?!? Admittedly, a little scary at first, but on the walls, they are awesome. In summary, I was looking for someone to make my new house a showcase of a home and Barbara delivered in a timely and cost-conscious way. You need to trust an expert and she certainly knows her stuff! I recommend her to everyone looking to work with a decorator who is knowledgeable, professional and unpretentious.
