“We researched various architects that were listed in Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine's Top Architects issue and found Steven Mooney. We were drawn to his work as it reflected the style we were seeking. When we met with Steve, we were impressed with how he listened to our vision and our ideas. He then came up with a design that surpassed our expectations. His experience shined as we had challenges with structural issues but Steven knew when to bring in additional resources to help make the best decisions. He was flexible during the building process and continued to listen to our ideas and our builder. He gave us good advice when we needed it. We love our new space! Nancy and Jim”

“Doug has designed two custom homes for us. The first built in 2008 was a modern lakeshore home in North Oaks, Mn incorporating many innovations in design and materials. Over the years the both visitors and passers by have remarked on the stunning result. ( See picture ). The second design is now under construction in Oregon. Doug has been able to take our ideas and translated them into a modern design fitting into a high desert landscape.”

“We chose Tan Nguyen as our architect because we had seen pictures of what he had done in a remodel of an acquaintances home. We were told that Tan would be very easy to work with. After our first meeting with Tan this proved to be the case. He listened to what we wanted to achieve in our remodel and by our second meeting he came back with drawings and proposal that blew us away with excitement. We loved his proposal and felt confident that he would work closely with us to work within our budget. He transformed our modest 1975 home and gave our kitchen, living/dining area and entry the contemporary, modern and functional character we were looking for. He was instrumental in helping us to find a great contractor, wonderful cabinets, flooring wood species and stain color, wall colors and many helpful suggestions on lighting and accessories. Nguyen Architects proved to be everything we had heard and turned out to be a perfect fit for our project.”
