“Tasked with the complete renovation of a large seaside 1960s holiday property, and with no prior experience of property renovation I found myself in need of expert advice. The house suffered from a litany of problems dating back to the original build, which needed immmediate remedy, and also required an internal reconfiguration to make it more suitable for modern living. “When we approached David from Dublin Design Studio in 2011 he was faced with the difficult task of meeting the living requirements of our large family comprising of teenagers and young adults. With this project he did not disappoint. David made the process of a difficult planing application easy and with a given time frame of 2 years and a hope of being settled in for Christmas 2012. We were very pleased to have moved in on the 18th of December 2012. He worked very closely with the building contractor, DC Building & Energy Services to complete a project involving the demolition of an old dwelling and the design and new build of a fabulous contemporary Eco. build comprising of 5,500 sq ft living accommodation.
