“We worked with Alex for approx. 2 years on our project which was just completed in July 2013. We own an 1875 Carriage House that we were looking to update, renovate and expand to modern specifications. From start to finish I felt like our dream project was in good hands. We basically tore down 75% of the original structure, renovated the remaining 25% and expanded up adding a lot of second floor living space. We found it a pleasure to work with Alex and our builder found the same thing to be true. We would recommend ADL III highly. This project totaled approx. $600,000.”

“I've used Bob and his crew to design a den addition for us. Bob has both an architectural and design background which is a huge plus. Not only did the den look great as a room, but he was helpful at figuring out how each area would function well and what to put in that space. He worked great with my builder and was a great go between when things got a big hairy. Funny and affable, Bob was a pleasure to work with.”

“Doug Cutler is the ultimate professional. His knowledge of architecture and modular building is superb. We are building a modular house on an existing foundation with some modifications. Doug is detailed oriented and can explain the reasons behind his suggestions. He will make suggestions, but realizes the customer must be happy with the end product and must make the final decisions. His manner of doing business is professional and timely. EMails and phone class are returned the next day. Very easy to work with. He is very aware and trying to stay within our budget. We are almost done with our home design.”

“I bought an old house on the harbor in terrible condition. I was dissatisfied with the first 2 architects I consulted. I then hired Vince Colangelo of Colangelo Associates Architects. I am extremely pleased with the house and with the experience of working with Vince. I cannot speak highly enough about it, but I have recommended him often. He is exemplary in every way. He is both very creative and practical (having been a builder) - a great combination. The breadth of his knowledge of every aspect of the job (doors, windows, zoning, drainage - you name it) was pretty amazing. He was always quickly responsive, and the opposite of a prima donna. This was my first time doing such a large project and I felt most comfortable assembling a team. Vince was a willing collaborator at all times. Excellent work. Extremely pleasant guy to work with. Always fair in his billing. My very highest possible recommendation. If you have a job and you don't at least talk to him - you're making a mistake.”

We have been working with several vendors on a big basement project for the last 6 months and Daniel is in a league of his own. Responds promptly to phone calls and emails and really knows his stuff. “Lisa Gilbert, LPG Architect, performed two jobs for us. In 2008, she designed a porch and mudroom. In 2013, she designed a two-story addition that included a new master bedroom suite and kitchen, and a reconfiguration of existing space. In connection with the latter project, Lisa also represented us before the zoning board for a small variance. We found Lisa very professional and accommodating of our schedules. She initially presented us with multiple ideas and was detail oriented in the design process. The result is fantastic. She considered important drainage/water issues that were important for the design and we could not be more pleased with the space. We highly recommend Lisa.”
