“after looking at hundreds of kitchen islands i found one on houzz.com that was completely different than all the generic ones. it was a beautiful craftman cherry wood piece of furniture 82x45 that could be handed down through the family for generations. i contacted him and he made drawings of the table which i had made (we live across the country from each other). subsequently i had many questions, having never done a kitchen remodel before. richard took all my calls, was so helpful with any question i had. we talked about countertops, electrical outlets, hardware, and in the process i realized i had found not only a beautiful blueprint for a magnificent and unique kitchen worktable (we never say "island" around here anymore!) but a very decent man who was a delight to talk to. his work is precise, clean, has a "forever" feel, and his personality matches his skills with design and wood. he's a great guy to work with. i couldn't be happier with the outcome.”

“We have had the pleasure of knowing Greg Porraro for over 20 years. He has built two homes for us and most recently, has rebuilt our home at the Jersey shore after it was devastated by Hurricane Sandy in the Fall of 2012. During one of the most stressful times of our lives, within two days of the storm, Greg had a crew of 29 workers attacking our home. There was a massive clean-up effort needed as well as reinforcing badly damaged walls and support columns. Greg put our mind at ease and totally took charge of the project. Within a few short weeks, we had a plan as to how we were going to put our home back together and have it ready for the following summer season. Greg coordinated every aspect of the project and took care of our home as if it were his own. He suggested many improvements to the original structure that will protect us further should another storm come our way. We are very happy to say that we took possession of our home again by the end of May 2013-just 7 short months after it was ripped apart by the storm. It is an absolute pleasure doing business with someone that you can trust 100%. We knew, every step of the way that Greg had our best interest at heart. “BACORP took our family summer house which was basically a tear-down and built a wonderful house we now live in full time. Anyone who has gone through this process knows how difficult it can get. Fortunately BACORP was with us every step of the way and did all of the heavy lifting. All of their recommendations and suggestions were excellent, making the process easier. There was also a web camera installed on the property during construction so family and friends, near and far, could follow live time, the construction process. The end result was a house that all our family will be able to live in and enjoy for many years, and hopefully, generations to come. PS: Final proof of BACORP quality: The house is directly on the Bay and the only damage sustained during Sandy was the loss of 2 pieces of roof shingles.”
