“We decided to award Home Architecture the design contract for a large rear extension we had planned for our 1930s house. The designed drawing by Mike had some design options that at the time we had not considered. With this open advice and forward thinking vision we approved modification for the final drawing sign off. Its now some eight years since we had the extension done and still very much appreciated the input we had from the architects. The rear extension in brief consisted of a approx 6m x 4m single story extension, with tiled roof , velux windows and Bi-fold doors across the rear to open up onto hard wood decking. I would recommend Home Architecture if you are considering building works small or large.”

“We loved working with Emily. She is thorough, accurate, knowledgeable and collaborative. A true professional. Emily took the time to get to know us and listen to what we wanted to achieve. She understood the space we felt we could create and how to transform it into our forever family home. She worked with us through the concept and drawing phase and creatively found a solution to our upstairs that we hadn't considered. She is thoughtful, realistic and detailed - advising on what is possible and if it isn't, the reasons why, or the cost required to achieve it. Emily helped us get through a difficult planning process, navigating tricky conversations with the powers that be, especially when we were delayed by bat surveys and the ecology process. She has a strong network and understands the process thoroughly - able to advise on timeframes and correct protocol. She recommended to us our builder - the best we've ever worked with and who we will continue to use for any future builds. Considering the quality of her work, time spent and continued support, we felt her prices incredibly fair. Emily is a delight to work with, very patient and reassuring, and we would highly recommend her.”

“Kennet Design were so professional from beginning to end of our extension project and we really felt we had a personal touch and that they really cared about our plans and vision. The plans that were drawn up were brilliant and gave our builders the precise information they needed to carry out the work to regulation standard - even in a way that we understood, so we could keep an eye on the build and progress. “We wished to extend our house but it is a very unusual shape. We were looking for an Architect who could come up with a design for a 2 storey extension that maintained the character of the house but provided us with more usable living space. We chose Adapt because their initial design concept fulfilled all our requirements yet remained within our suggested budget. Although construction is not yet complete, our neighbours have commented on how much better the house looks. We are pleased at how much more space we will have when the work is complete and how the house will be far more suitable for us as we get older. Alan talked us through the whole process of Planning & Building Control approval & kept us fully informed during these processes. Additionally, he recommended suitable structural engineers and surveyors to assist us, and sent out tender documents to the various builders who were quoting for the work. Altogether, we were provided with an excellent service and would recommend this company without hesitation. We would recommend t”

“We used the services of Christopher Hunt on our home extension & re-modelling scheme & we have been delighted with the end result. Chris is very forthright in his approach & the level of information & guidance he provided through out our project was invaluable. Every builder we approached for tender commented on the quality & clarity of the drawings (although they were less enamored with the length of the specification writing they had to read). Anyway, Chris Hunt’s system allowed us to obtain upfront all inclusive prices from builders that avoided the usual extras most builders like to exploit (so most of our friends tell us). Overall we would certainly recommend Christopher Hunts services for helping you with your home building scheme.”
