“We had the pleasure of working with Deb Bauman on the design and rebuild of our house in Maine. Deb's work on this project far exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, she listened to and worked closely with us to understand our family's needs and tastes and produced design concepts that addressed those stated needs and other needs that we hadn't even thought about. Throughout the project, Deb was always a delight to work with. She was accessible, collaborative, creative, and fun. She worked closely with our builder, engaged with him in a collaborative way (which further enhanced the project) and made sure that no detail was left to chance. The end result is a home that is warm, inviting and that reflects our personalities. Even now, 2 years after the project was completed, we are struck by the creativity and detail of Deb's fine work. “After meeting Gavin for the first time, I know our kitchen would be in good hands! We wanted to renovate our entire kitchen area, entranceway and at the same time, make it modern and practical for a family of 6. He gave us several different drawings and ideas and we collaborated on the final design. Through the entire process, his "designer" brain is always on! He is constantly trying to find the best fit for our needs and situation. He has a broad knowledge of not only architecture, but the entire design, permit, build, construction process. This is also why we loved working with him because he has a great sense of the cost required to complete our design and stay within our budget. Throughout the entire process, he was available by phone and email to coordinate, plan or fix small details. He worked seamlessly with the city to get our plans approved and permitted. It felt to us that our project was his only project and he knew every single detail probably better than us. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will for years to come! We will use him again for our stairway and upstairs renovation. I highly recommend Gavin for his amazing ideas, architectural skills, and positive attitude.”

“Review for Chris Delano - Art of Space Chris did a wonderful job designing our new lake house so that views of the lake can be seen from our main living areas including the master bedroom. We were pleased with his creative ideas which included the use of upper windows that allow extra light to filter in throughout the day. He not only was the architect but was involved in the management of the project. Chris was excellent to work with and he and the general contractor worked very well together. Chris is a gifted architect and a man of integrity.”

“We engaged Scott to design a carriage house that would compliment the architectural features of our home and incorporate several elements of use to include office space, vehicle storage, rest room and potting shed work space. We went through concept meetings and then several iterations of drawings to achieve the right size and feel. Scott listened well and transformed our thoughts into a wonderful space! He stayed with us throughout the entire project and made sure that we were satisfied with the final product.”

Though we only had a few basic ideas for our house, they created multiple options for us to consider. Our project has a few unique aspects. Brandon and crew worked with us to integrate these aspects into a cohesive and personalized design. We highly recommend Winter Holben!”
