“Chris turned up when he said he was going to, did a great job, cleared up after himself and the starry ceilings (we started with one, and had him come back and do a second one) were fab. We then asked him to create a custom mural for us, which he did (different to his usual stuff). It's a stunning mural, which I admire every day, and had many friends remark on it. It's not cheap, but I wouldn't expect it to be when the work is such a skilled craft.”

“I have commissioned Christine for a family portrait and am extremely happy with the results. It hangs pride of place in our sitting room! She captured all of us beautifully and was very accommodating about minor changes (removing my daughter's braces) and very helpful in presenting different styles. She was very easy to communicate with and worked hard to determine exactly what I wanted. This was a gift for my husband's 40th birthday and it moved him to tears it was so lovely. I chose Christine because I had asked her to paint some art for my bedroom and she did this quickly and beautifully capturing exactly what I wanted. Although this triptych wasn't as demanding as the portrait I am extremely happy with the work. I have two other of Christine's paintings in my home as well. All of her own work is evocative and she is gifted in using may different mediums and styles. She even gave me advice in when hanging them.”

“I ordered a bespoke acrylic on canvas artwork, and was so happy with the result. The artist (Shabs) was in touch with me many times throughout the process to get my feedback and check we were on the same page. The finished artwork is just what I wanted and is the talking point of my house. It was delivered in a reinforced box within 2.5 weeks of placing the order. I would love to work with the artist again - Shabs made the whole process easy and stress free. 5 Stars!”

“Ben did a marvellous restoration job on a set of antique table legs (see photos) left to us by an elderly relative. The original table top was a large antique Cairoware brass tray,which simply rested on the legs, but given that this isn't the most stable arrangement when there are kids around, we asked him to make a recessed top for the table to match the legs, for the tray to sit in. He managed to source a lovely piece of timber, and colour-match it with the newly restored legs, so now it looks as though our table was designed that way. We now have a lovely family heirloom that we can actually use! Highly recommended.”

“Louise came round twice prior to starting work on our bedroom walls - the first time to find out what we wanted and take photographs of our colour scheme, the second to show us her sketches for us to approve. Louise's keen eye for detail and careful attention to her customer's taste and requirements, together with an artistic flair most of us can only dream of, meant that she was spot on with the design and created a beautiful mural that was exactly what we wanted. We now have gorgeous butterflies and flowers trailing across our wardrobe doors and walls - just the right amount, and in just the right places. The work was done in 2 days and with minimum disruption to our bedroom whilst it was going on. I would highly recommend (and already have!) The Creative Decorator to anyone and everyone, as long as she doesn't become so busy she can't come back and do some more for us in other rooms...!”

“I have purchased several picture from DegreeArt.com and each time have been wowed by the quality of the end to end service offered by the team. Everyone you speak to is able to help source, plan, (and in some instances hang) each piece of art to suit your taste and budget. If what they have isn't perfect they also offer a commissioning service which has enabled me, for example, to fit a particular piece to the space I have on the wall. I haven't had the same experience with other art websites (DegreeArt.com also have a gallery where you can see pieces in person before buying) and I don't think I would buy art from anywhere but DegreeArt.com.”
