“We cannot speak highly enough of I D Smith Construction Services. We instructed them to fully refurbish our 1930s semi with the addition of a single storey extension. The project included new external render, full rewire, replumb, fresh plastering, new roof, bespoke carpentry, new gravel driveway, new kitchen and new bathrooms amongst many other items. There's not much these guys can't turn their hands to. We found Ian and his team a pleasure to deal with. They were reliable and trustworthy and most importantly delivered an excellent finish throughout. As is inevitable with major building work we did incur additional, unforeseen costs but these were reasonable and proportionate and Ian kept us informed throughout. What we loved in particular was Ian's ability to find solutions to any problems we encountered. His calmness throughout the project helped keep our stress levels down. We hope to work with Ian, Kieron, Phil and Stuart again in the future (possibly a patio) once we have saved up! Highly recommended.”
