“Deborah was fantastic from the moment i met her; through her easy going friendly nature she very quickly and accurately identified my likes and dislikes and incorporated these aspects into her amazingly creative design ideas. Deborah has transformed my lounge and my kitchen into contemporary, relaxing, stylish spaces that we never would have been able to have visualised without her very clear visions. I totally trusted her choices and im so glad i did as i have the kitchen and lounge that i would have never have achieved without her. If you are looking to transform your home into the home youve always dreamt of, i would highly recommend Deborah. Thank you Deborah so much for everything! We are so glad we were introduced to you as we know our kitchen would never have looked this amazing without you!!”

“We never thought we'd be the sort of people who used an Interior designer.... upon speaking to Deborah my wife Carolyn immediately liked her as a person and that's how the journey began..... Deborah was always professional and focused... kept the bigger picture in mind ( we renovated the whole house ) and helped us achieve what we wanted whilst giving us ideas we could never have considered ourselves, therein lies the secret ). She guided all along the way and was always available not just with advice but decisions that moved things forward. Her step by step approach made the process considerably less ( none ) of a worry for us . Talented ....? well very ! . Use of texture, colour and space...getting things to coordinate between rooms....amazing. Deborah helped us create a home we could never have dreamed of. Financials...? always kept cost in mind and ready to provide an alternative is something was pricey. There were no aspects at the end of the project we didn't like ( loved it all ).. how do you put a price on that... choosing something expensive that you don't like in the end would be a great disappointment so you avoid that ... We would have to highly recommend this very nice lady...!”

“We refurbished our entire flat which involved updating everything and some structural alterations. Yoko was in charge of the project from start to finish. She is creative, client focused and excellent in project management. As it was our first renovation project, we did not know where to start. During the first meeting, Yoko laid out a clear roadmap using visual examples from her past projects so we understand what each process requires. We liked her design/artistic sense, and her organised approach and communication manner gave us confidence in leaving the project in her hand. We wanted to make the flat modern and functional, but not cold and boring. We wanted character, warmth, and elegance. Yoko proposed multiple designs that go with our vague ideas as well as something we had not thought of, which we appreciated and gladly adopted. She worked around various constraints such as space, budget, and functionality without sacrificing the design quality. Yoko managed sourcing, schedule and various trades. She has been always responsive to our queries and requests, and flexible in making changes where possible. The interior designs for the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallway, joinery works and lightings were beautifully weaved throughout the flat, with each room having different themes and colour combinations. We are very happy with the outcome of the renovation and would recommend Yoko wholeheartedly.”

“Caroline is extremely creative and enabled us to create our dream kitchen. From the start, she was skilled at taking our ideas and likes to create a functional, child-friendly family kitchen/diner with no compromise on style. She gently pushed our style choices by showing us alternatives that we didn’t even know existed! We adore the space that she has created and would recommend her to everyone! Sometimes it’s the little touches that make the most impact; the complimentary colours, the well placed plug socket for the baby monitor, the impact of light from all of the angles and of course a vase of beautiful flowers!! (Cost for whole project including building work and kitchen)”
Architect Your Home

“I employed Architect Your Home to design an extension to my house by replacing a conservatory with a new family room added to my kitchen. The kitchen was redesigned as part of the architect's brief together with a new downstairs cloakroom/WC and storage area beneath the stairs in the hall. The architect was Andrew Catto, who is based in Putney. Andrew provided an initial half day consultation and sketch drawings for me, then at my request went on to prepare among other things the scheme level drawings, permitted development application, breakdown of work and tender documentation and invitations to tender to builders, coordination with the structural engineer, party wall and other permissions documentation, and a pre-contract site meeting with the chosen builder. I consulted him by telephone and email and at my home and at his office throughout the preparation stages and he was available for queries during the build. His design was an excellent solution to ensuring both light for the enlarged space and the practical use of the kitchen and new WC and storage area. He understood our needs from the outset and met them fully. He produced what the builders said were excellent drawings and design and they followed up with a high quality build which they completed several weeks earlier than estimated. My wife and I have been delighted with the result and which impresses all of our visitors. Andrew was very professional, timely and helpful to deal with and managed my expectations and occasional minor anxieties about what I was embarking upon. I was delighted with the Architect Your Home way of working which allowed me to choose the services I wanted and to know in advance what the costs were likely to be. I recommend their service.”

“We employed Emily to help us design an appropriate layout and furnish our 'grown up' lounge. Having a large family space meant we hadn't given any attention to our front room a year after we had moved in! and we had no idea where to start. Emily's first visit was focused on helping us decide what we wanted the room to be/ do for us and she understood our requirements really quickly and really well. Emily then came back with a suggested layout, a list of possible items (sofa/ chairs/ tables/ lamps) and bar a few tweaks we pretty much went for all her suggestions. Some of the items we bought, we would never had looked at twice in the showroom/ online but they work so well together. The lounge looks amazing now and we're so happy with the service from Emily. We will definitely be calling on her again! The cost of the project below includes all the furniture too - not just Emily's service which was a flat fee for each element (layout/ mood board/ furniture selection)”

“Having struggled with our use of space for our two storey extension our architect just wasn't inspiring us we were recommended Laura by a friend who had used her services. My husband was dubious about paying for interior designer but we agreed we needed help. Laura visited our house and spent several hours going through what we needed. She was quick to point out huge issues we hadn't even considered. We just felt the space wasn't giving us what we needed. Laura's brief was to design a open plan kitchen, dinner and snug area. Two weeks later she arrived with five different layouts for us to consider. The last one she showed us was the magical layout we desired. My husband was so impressed with Laura's work he asked her to come back to help with choosing designs and colours for the kitchen. Laura actually saved us £10,000 with her design and unnecessary building work. We would have no hesitation recommending Laura. We will use her services again. When you're spending significant amounts of money you need to get it right. Laura helped us do this - she's worth every penny!”

“It was great working with Paula on the ‘Piano Room’ joinery. Paula had a pretty clear idea how it should look right from the start. We bounced ideas back and forward for a while until Paula suggested we make curved units each side of the piano to maximise the aesthetics of the units in the space we had. She is very personable and friendly to work with while having a great eye for details! Martin, Distinctive Woodwork”

“"After reviewing a few architects I came across Metre Sq and met with Gilda to run some ideas past her on what we saw as our vision of what our extension should look like. Metre squared full hand holding approach from visionary plans to gaining local planning permission was excellent and they were always available for questions and details on timing and the overall process. I could not have asked for a better firm to help simplify and remove the stresses and strains of building work. I will highly recommend Metre square to friends and colleagues and cannot thank them enough for all the help provided."”
