“Dave was recommended to me and has now done two decorating jobs for me, my living room last year and this year my dining room and hallway. Dave and Kerry are excellent and I highly recommend them. My living room has a beautiful plaster and lathe ceiling with detailed cornicing, but was showing signs of cracking under the paper. Dave took the paper off and underneath it looked alarming, there are photos on this site but they don't show the full extent of the cracking. Dave recommended Jon Drake, a plasterer who did a fantastic job over boarding and replastering the ceiling, retaining all of the character. Dave painted it and it is a continuing pleasure to enjoy this room restored to its original beauty. Dave and Kerry have just finished doing my hallway and dining room. They skilfully filled some skirting board that my dog had chewed so the damage is undetectable. I leave them in the house while I go out to work and they are trustworthy and co-ordinated with other people I needed to come in (an electrician and a plumber), liaising with them and letting them in. When I hated the paint I had chosen for the hallway they were both brilliant, helping me choose an alternative colour and rapidly painting this over to my huge relief, fortunately I love the new colour. Dave also sourced and supplied all the paints once I had chosen the colours. Dave knows his stuff about paint and can give good advice on choosing different types etc. He is reliable, turns up when he says he will, and does an excellent and thorough job without taking ages. His prices are reasonable for a high quality service. He is also a lovely guy to have a natter with :)”
