“I have had the pleasure of working with Maurice's Olde World Furnishings for over five years now. The have made the majority of the furniture in my house. Every time I worked with them, I was given the same attention to detail and good service as the first time. Each piece was created to a perfect size for my home, and in the choice of wood and color I wanted. The quality of the furniture is very high, thick wood, beautiful joints, with all the details your imagination can come up with. I have three bedroom sets; beds with matching nightstands, bureaus, and armoires. An amazing closet door that looks like a hutch instead of a door was made so precisely that you can barely see that it could open. Most people walk by it thinking it is a piece of furniture. They've made items for me from a simple small side table, to a very large oversized desk. When I asked if they could make a simple base to hold a sculpture, they called the artist to discuss the weight of the sculpture and how he wanted to mount the piece onto the base. The artist was impressed with the calls and was given the exact dimensions of the base so he could make a mock up to see how he would mount the piece permanently when he delivered it. If you are looking for something well made, with beautiful details and finishes, you should make an appointment with Maurice's people and see what they can do for you. You won't be disappointed, that's for sure.”
