We wanted to increase storage by building in a media unit and had asked for a few visits from other companies but chose Tim based on his past projects online. He was very responsive from the start and extremely reliable. We were able to design our unit with him and created something that we are so pleased with that will hide unsightly toy mess/clutter and transform the room into a snug for the kids. We added a floating table for studying/homework time and Tim was so helpful with his recommendations of material and incorporating it into the whole unit. Jose (carpenter) and Erwin (painter) were extremely professional, patient and a joy to have for the 10 days it took. We really enjoyed the process and did not find it stressful at any stage. We appointed West London Carpentry to help us out with a bespoke banquette and large bespoke mirror frame for a project in Chelsea. Tim was extremely useful right from the beginning, calling to discuss & go over the fine details - something I have not always experienced with joiners & carpenters (usually due to them wanting to get the job done & quickly & as cost effectively as possible). I felt I could trust Tim & his workmen right from the offset due to their careful approach & attention to detail. We were very happy with the finished project & we have recently appointed them to fit out a much larger joinery package for a project of ours in Maida Vale. Tim and his carpenter Chubby did an excellent job of building some bespoke fitted storage in our newly decorated lounge, as well as painting some existing understairs storage. We were very impressed with Tim's approach and knack for design upon his first visit. We had an idea of what we wanted but he really helped to bring our vision to life. Tim kept us fully up up date when he had to delay the installation due to COVID rules. Chubby did a fantastic job on installation and painting and was very clean and hardworking. Really skilled carpentry - I had two wardrobes fitted and they are both stunning. I enjoyed the tailored service in designing them and the honest advice I got on what was needed. West London Carpentry and Decoration built 3 wardrobes for me, including one to fit under a sloping ceiling in a loft. Process end to end was very smooth - survey was quick and the designs came back quickly, and the build, installation and decorating was also smooth. They started when they said they would, and finished when they said they would. They worked in a careful and a tidy manner - they have cleaned up well after themselves. We had a point of contact who was very responsive, communications were good throughout. The final products are good and look excellent, and having done quite a bit of research, their prices were also competitive and certainly will beat high street shops like Sharps by some stretch.

Professional from start to finish. WLC built two bespoke shelving units for us that we're really pleased with, and also repainted our hallway and office. They were the only carpentry company we found who provided 3D technical drawings before starting work (which helped us realise the room was an even more irregular shape than we'd thought), and when we needed to amend the design they were nothing but helpful and efficient. Tim and his team were excellent. It was a long process because we were having lots of other work done but Tim was flexible and accommodating to our schedule. We worked closely with a carpenter called Laszlo who helped us with our design and thoroughly checked everything he did. When the work began, Tim's team worked quickly and carefully. I'm very pleased by the work these guys have recently completed in my hallway - a shoe and cloaks cupboard with bench and a bespoke storage cupboard. They interpreted my (very rough) outline drawings perfectly and the end result is just as I'd hoped. Communication was good and the work ethos of the whole team has been second to none. We had recently had our whole house refurbished to a high standard with the exception of our 3rd bedroom. We asked Tim and Lorenzo to fit out our 3rd bedroom as a study but set them the challenge to deliver a finish at leat as god as the rest of the house. They were really efficient and professional and the fit out took 2 days plus painting and varnishing afterwards another day. Throughout we found their communication and standard of finish excellent. I had decoration and carpentry work done at my house. The redecoration consisted in a small bedroom, master bedroom and sitting room. The work was excellent and the communication with the team was perfect, they listened to what I wanted and delivered it to the perfection. The carpentry work consisted in a 3 double wardrobe in the master and two alcove units in the sitting. Am very happy with the finished result, good standard and looks great. I employed Tim and his team to build some fitted wardrobes. The work carried out was to a high standard from beginning to end, and Laszlo was very thorough with his measurements. The team begun the work when I was away, I had no issues providing them with a key, and they left the flat clean. The final result looks great, all costs were agreed in advance and no surprises. West London Carpentry built an alcove unit and shelves in our sitting room. We are thrilled with the job. From start to finish it has been a pleasure dealing with this company. I had a number of carpenters quote for the work. The price was competitive but more importantly I trusted what Tim was suggesting, he seemed to genuinely want to do the work and he understood my concern about having a young baby in the house. The actual unit was built in a day, painted in a day and a half and looks brilliant. The guys were polite, efficient and very tidy. Needless to say, I have already asked Tim to quote on another piece of work!

Neat, efficient and most professional job done with the minimum of fuss by pleasant courteous workers. Good advice given by obvious experience and we are very pleased with the result. Only down side was we had to wait six weeks because they are so busy! Worth the wait though.

6 full length Wardrobe doors expertly finished in a Victorian house in Chiswick. Excellent communications from the start including quote, understanding of job and options available. Great carpentry job to put build the doors and then an excellent paint job to finish with great care taken to cover the carpet and our furnature.

Tim and his team made a fantastic job throughout in building a built in library with sideboard for our living room. From the initial consultation with helpful suggestions to turn our initial sketch into the design we wanted. The execution was then carried out accommodating our requests showing flexibility and superb client care. in the end the project required some tweaking to the initial design which could have not foreseen and these have been done without any problem enabling us to receive the product we wanted. We have been extremely pleased both with the quality of the craftsmanship as well as the value for money and the responsiveness to the client's request. Overall 5 deserved star!!

Hired WLC to build an alcove unit and really happy with the quality of work. The finishing in particular is very good; the new woodwork perfectly meets the walls and skirting. Comms and service were very good; we never had to chase, and from first contact the work was quoted, agreed, scheduled, built and painted up in less than four weeks.

Tim and his team did a great job and worked well with my electrician to build in lighting to my wardrobes. The wardrobes were built into an awkward space with different height ceilings and alcoves which they built around with seamless results. The quote was highly competitive, but one thing to bear in mind is that they have the wood delivered to you and build in situ. They were good to keep the mess to a minimum though. All in all, very pleased and would recommend.

After a few months of trying to decide what designs to go with Tim was extremely accommodating and got all the work completed very quickly. The finish and look of the cupboard is excellent.

Very happy with the final result. The build quality and the finish are excellent. My project was a set of en-suite cabinets that involved a few complexities and required the team to work closely with the builder renovating the bathroom. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't recommend more. The price can be a little steep but you get what you pay for.

A fast turn around from initial quote to completion of works. All works were done to a superb standard and materials were kept tidy and mess to a minimum. Very happy with the finish. The pricing is high but so is the quality of the finished product.

Tim and his team built floor to ceiling wardrobes and storage units, along with a work station and other shelving in my spare room. From start to finish they were a fantastic company to work with. I added some extras to the job which pushed the bill up a little, but was kept very well informed of costs throughout the project. I highly recommend them and will most definitely use them again.

Very pleased with the new cupboards in our loft bedroom. They feel very solid and look good. We had two sets made, both designed to make the most of a slightly awkward space, and they work incredibly well. We particularly like the routed handles. There was one hiccup - the carpenter initially fitted doors that were too thin for the routed handles. We were impressed that Tim immediately flagged this up, and organised for the doors to be replaced the following day. The painting was also done to a high standard. Both the carpenter and the decorator were pleasant to have around, and work was done to schedule (in fact it started earlier than the original start date we were given, which we were very pleased about).

I contacted Tim and the team to make some bespoke shelving for my vinyl amongst other things. I found the work, finish and speed of the job second to none and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Add to that the fact that one of the decorators helped me to move all my vinyl downstairs and wouldn't accept payment. Service and honesty like this in the building trade is very rare. Thoroughly recommended.

West London Carpentry initially was not the most competitive but because I liked Tim's manner, I wanted to West London Carpentry to do the work. Tim agreed to an adjustment to the quote and we instructed them to commence work. Timelines were shared with us throughout the works and these were adhered to. The carpenter did a great job and had the initiative to pick cornicing in keeping with the decor of our flat. The painter also did a fantastic job, so much so that we have asked for a quote to do other jobs in the flat. I would certainly recommend West London Carpentry for the expertise and professional manner in the way they conducted the works.

Tim provided fitted cupboards in 3 different rooms in my house. He also updated a couple of other areas for me. I found him extremely easy to work with and his team did a brilliant job. Highly recommended.

We are delighted with the bespoke walk-in cupboard that Tim and his team designed and built for us in our loft room. The finish is very smart and the carpenter (Gary) and decorator (Craig) were considerate and tidy while working here. The space was an awkward one so it was helpful to have the 3D design in advance. We would definitely use them again in the future.

Tim and his team inspire confidence right from the start. They interpreted my ideas perfectly and enhanced the designs with their own good ideas while still respecting my overall vision. They were punctual, professional and meticulous. I love our new furniture!

London West Carpentry did a large fitted wardrobe in our bedroom, as well as alcove units in the living room- the whole process was very professional, from first contact, to visit and sketching, carpentry and decoration. We are very happy with the outcome and will certainly go back to them for future projects.

Carpenters turned an empty bulkhead at foot of stairs into a window seat with a hatch for storage under, and integrated shelving on top. Second phase was to redecorate paint this stairwell, including filling ceiling from spotlights removed, and all skirting etc, doing the same turning our spare bedroom into a nursery. Tim didn't have an electrician in his team, but recommended one who is the best I've come across (reliable, reasonably priced & pleasant). I found Tim and his team easy to work with and will definitely use again and recommend to friends. These works were part of a number of renovations we did on our home mid to late 2014. I used numerous providers for different jobs and had issues with all other providers (which needed multiple return visits to rectify) not so with West London Carpentry - they stood out from the rest. Tim and his team were very professional and fitted two lovely wooden units into our flat. They were very open to design recommendations and the actual works were finished to a very high standard.

I chose WL Carpentry from 3 competing local recommended providers. They were not the cheapest. However, Tim's professionalism, friendliness and honest straightforwardness, together with an understanding of what I was looking for in quality of finish made me choose his firm. He also offered a quick start. The carpenter, Lazlo, was willing to discuss, amend and incorporate small changes to design and measurement as the unit was installed. Finally, Robert, the painter, was committed to achieving a beautiful finish and spared no pains - as well as being delightful company. I'm looking forward to their return to do a couple of other smaller jobs for me.

I have now used West London Carpentry 3 times for work in various properties. Their work is always top quality and Tim is brilliant to deal with, full of great ideas to help optimise space. I can't recommend them more highly!

Tim and his team did a great job of boxing in all my air conditioning pipework - a tricky, fiddly job, which was done to the highest standard. Tim communicated well and kept to all arrangements.
