“Reccommended by a realtor friend who has seen Sammi's work in numerous other homes, Sammi and his crew paid close attention to detail and did a great job restoring our 100 year old floors. Sand, stain, and poly. Job took longer than any of us expected, but he didn't rush or cut any corners. He explained the unforeseen issues, and took care of them. Price was reasonable, similar to other quotes we got. I would use him again.”

“My sister lives in Japan, however she purchased a home in Woodbury as a summer home for her and her family of 5 children. I was quite nervous when she tasked me with furnishing the house in preparation of their arrival. I was recommended by a friend to visit Peykar because they have a program which allows you to place a rug in the home as a trial to see if the rug fits the room and your style. I was pleased by the selection they had. I thought I was going to walk into a showroom of old style oriental rugs but they had many shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from. I dealt directly with the owner, Robert Hakimi. He was very patient and understanding and incredibly knowledgable. The carpet was delivered quickly and my sister loved the choices we made... except one. Peykar came and picked up the one rug she did not love and delivered a new one. Everyone is very happy.”

“Marcin & Kal of Euro Floors are top professionals. I made an appointment with Kal for an estimate. Marcin came and carefully explained all the choices of floors we had. We finally made a decision and contracted with Euro Floors. We have 4 wood floors in our home sanded, finished and sealed three times. Marcin and his assistant did two floors at a time. It takes 3 days for the floors to cure. Marcin is a top craftman in his field. They were polite, punctual and very knowledgable. Marcin explained that we need gray magic sliders on our furniture inorder not to mark or gouge the floors. He provided us with A Bona Started Kit which has every item you need to keep the floors dusted and clean. Macin is one of the few Certified Bona Craftsmen on Long Island and New York Our floors look amazing. The Living Room floor was in very poor condition. It is now fantastic looking.. Two of my neighbors came in to look at the floors. They were so surprised at the difference in my floors.”

“12/28/14 On the rare occasion when a job is performed that exceeds my expectations I would like to see that credit is acknowledged so others might find a similar benefit. I contracted with Matt Bruno (Palermo’s owner) and had the benefit of his foreman –Roberto- heading the crew. Roberto and crew worked at my house over a three day period. This was a basic sanding and poly job with both staircase and spindle areas that required more than machine work. I also required a follow up for touch up that occurred because I’m over exacting. The resulting work was professional, attentive to detail, crisp and done with a most positive attitude. They cleaned up each day and my wife had no issues to complain about. Under Roberto’s leadership the crew was able to affect the desired result. Matt and his people were able to answer all questions to my satisfaction in terminology I could understand. I interviewed a number of contractors before choosing Palermo and found Palermo’s pricing to be within the range of others. With the results I achieved, I would have gladly have paid toward the higher end and been equally satisfied. I did not experience delays in scheduling. With the volume of work this company does, you might have to be patient on setting a date I waited three to four weeks before the start date; but again the wait was worth the extra quality and professional service received. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend."”
