“This was our first visit and it was quite honestly faultless, Lucy was extremely friendly and informative regarding the product we were interested in and explained all the different options as well. After deciding on the piece we wanted the ordering process was easy and simple (very rare happening in our experience). We didn't even have to reach out to Lucy or her staff, they would provide constant updates of progress and delivery. The workmanship, purchasing process and delivery was Outstanding!!!! We look forward to all the new designs!”

“There are flooring contractors and then there is Eric Herman at State of the Art Flooring. I’m pleased to say that Eric is a cut above all the other contractors out there. My situation involved a failed refinishing of a floor as a result of having a difficult wood to stain (Beech). To determine how best to fix the problem I interviewed 5 different contractors and only Eric promised that he could solve it. But more importantly, only Eric was willing to make the effort to understand what had gone wrong previously and then invest the time experimenting with different solutions. He did not less than 20 samples in his laboratory and 8 samples on sight. When one approach wasn’t working, he switched gears and spent several hours on the phone with the manufacturer of a product that ultimately worked. Eric might cost more than other contractors, but he is worth every penny! I wholeheartedly recommend him and his firm.”

“My sister lives in Japan, however she purchased a home in Woodbury as a summer home for her and her family of 5 children. I was quite nervous when she tasked me with furnishing the house in preparation of their arrival. I was recommended by a friend to visit Peykar because they have a program which allows you to place a rug in the home as a trial to see if the rug fits the room and your style. I was pleased by the selection they had. I thought I was going to walk into a showroom of old style oriental rugs but they had many shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from. I dealt directly with the owner, Robert Hakimi. He was very patient and understanding and incredibly knowledgable. The carpet was delivered quickly and my sister loved the choices we made... except one. Peykar came and picked up the one rug she did not love and delivered a new one. Everyone is very happy.”

They have goods to meet every price point and budget, but the real reason to conduct business with them is for the service experience. Knowledgeable sales team, expert installers and they stand behind the product. You can not know how good any experience is until you have a problem and you see the quality of service. I give them an all around thumbs up. This is after decades and thousands of yards!”
