“I went to Carpet One, in New Bern, to find the perfect tile for a very unique bathroom renovation project I was working on in a historic home. During the ripe-out and demolition of the existing tub surround, we discovered that one wall of the bathroom was originally an exterior wall with an exterior stairway leading to apartments, rented out in the 1940's. We decided to keep the original brick wall with the outline of the staircase as small door as part of the shower and opted to use wood plank tile from Carpet One for the other walls. Mark, Leslie and Patrick of Carpet One were very helpful during this project. Thank you! Margaret”
