“My sister lives in Japan, however she purchased a home in Woodbury as a summer home for her and her family of 5 children. I was quite nervous when she tasked me with furnishing the house in preparation of their arrival. I was recommended by a friend to visit Peykar because they have a program which allows you to place a rug in the home as a trial to see if the rug fits the room and your style. I was pleased by the selection they had. I thought I was going to walk into a showroom of old style oriental rugs but they had many shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from. I dealt directly with the owner, Robert Hakimi. He was very patient and understanding and incredibly knowledgable. The carpet was delivered quickly and my sister loved the choices we made... except one. Peykar came and picked up the one rug she did not love and delivered a new one. Everyone is very happy.”

They have goods to meet every price point and budget, but the real reason to conduct business with them is for the service experience. Knowledgeable sales team, expert installers and they stand behind the product. You can not know how good any experience is until you have a problem and you see the quality of service. I give them an all around thumbs up. This is after decades and thousands of yards!”

“My wife and I were remodeling our house and we needed carpet and pre finished hardwood floors. We went to bigger stores and flooring outlets. We decided to go to our local All Carpet store and talked to Steve the owner he helped us select the products that were best for our needs. I found it very refreshing to go into a store and talk to a person who was knowledgeable about the products he was selling. Steve was at the house the entire time the of the carpet and floor installation and made sure it was perfect. The prices were great and installations was perfect. From purchase to installation it was a hassle free experience. thank you Steve I will recommend you to everyone I know.”

“I've used Dee Jay Carpet for most of the rooms in my house. They installed carpet in bedrooms, the basement and stairs--all installed perfectly. Big selection of flooring. The installers always showed up on time, did the job efficiently and cleaned up when finished. I've also used Dee Jay to install vinyl flooring after replacing carpet in the basement. They recommended a product and guaranteed it. I am happy with my experiences, I would use them again and know that if I ever had a problem, it would be taken care of.”
