Had these guys lay a floor for me throughout my new build. To anyone interested in these things stop right here! The floor is perfect and just as I wanted it. The quality of the product itself is excellent and the laying of it perfect too. The fitters took all the time in the world to achieve a top quality finish and left the property immaculate. Initial advice and admin backup exemplary. No hesitation in recommending them to anybody!

The guys laid a white oak floor. They were extremely helpful and polite. Nothing was a problem. Great company. Looking forward to my next project with them.

I am extremely happy with the quality of flooring and service I received from William Beard Flooring Ltd. I hired them to place flooring in my front room and had a specific floor in mind which I had seen on their website. The man fitting the flooring arrived early each day and worked carefully and conscientiously ensuring that I was happy with the progress he was making. He was neat and tidy and had respect not only for the room he was working on but for the rest of my house also. The floor is exactly what I wanted and expected and the company were accurate in their estimate and there were no hidden extras at the end of the job. They provided a seamless service with an exceptionally high standard of product, I would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again for any future project.

Very professional and friendly team of guys. Work hard, did a fantastic job I love my new stairs I can't believe the difference they made to my creaky old stairs now they are slient. Professional, friendly, conscientious team of people that care about their work. I went to William Beard for an alternative flooring quote and came away with lots of unbiased information to ponder with no hard sell from Joe at all. Right from the start he was open, friendly and seemed to want to help me get the best flooring I could. We engaged them and from start to end the service was excellent. Will and Joe are training their staff to be craftsman and to respect the wood and the area it is to be laid. I am thoroughly pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to use them again.

After spending 3 years dealing with various contractors on a 9500ft new build detached house, you'll appreciate the amount of stress involved with the usual UK tradesmen who typically over promise and under deliver..... including a team of carpenters who laid 65m2 of a new oak floor so badly, I had to completely remove and replace. I found William Beard on Houzz and after meeting Joe, felt reassured that I was dealing with a 'proper' company. I took a huge leap of faith as I only had online reviews to go by and his word but it was the smartest decision I made over the past three years. From actually starting on the arranged date (a small point but its a standard response to push on the job after a deposit is paid!) to turning up on time every day, treating my house as their own home with regards to keeping it dust free and tidy, to the most important part, the fantastic workmanship by William and his team laying the beautiful floor. The guys worked solidly, day in, day out until the job was complete...within the estimated completion time. The results are spectacular and I am genuinely over the moon. I don't normally do reviews but feel I owe it to Joe and William to share my positive experience. It's really nice to see a small firm doing things correctly, not cutting corners and not forgetting how to treat clients. They deserve all the work you will hopefully throw at them! William Beard is not the cheapest but the over used cliche of 'you get what you pay for' is perfectly true in this instance. Finally, I'd like to thank all of the William Beard team for being extremely polite and respectful at all times - with four children and a grumpy wife in the house whilst the work was going on, these things matter.

William Beard laid timber flooring throughout our entire 4 story house . I found Joe Bishop and his team to be knowledgeable , reliable ,competetive and honest . One of the few contractors throughout our 18 month project that did what they promised .
